As advertised, this is a restaurant / pub at the top of the Sani Pass. The problem is that there is no competition. Since the new owners have taken over the quality of the food has changed but unfortunately it is not as good as it used to be. We ordered burgers which we thought was a safe choice but...

Beautiful setting with reasonable food. It can get very crowded and then the service can get slow. Despite the size of group, the service was good. The hamburgers are huge !!! We did not stay in the accomodation.

We were 4 adults and visited from 07/09/16 to 08/09/16. Whilst we were the only overnight guests on 07/09/16 and were ;looked after like Royalty from start to end I can only imagine that the enthusiasm of the staff improves as the numbers increase. They are genuinely passionate and attentive about their guests - all of the staff were delighted...

Right next to the South African border the lodge has all you need to fight off the spartan outside. I was there in August and it was cold. The restaurant and bar are well stocked with good food and a wide choice of drinks. My friends and I finished the night with a Horlicks and Amarula nightcap! Rooms are huts...

With some friends I took a lunch and some hot drinks here. The place is carismatic and very nice and it was a pleasure to stay there for a while. The staff was friendly, on the other hand the service was quite slow but the pub was busy therefore I understood the situation. To sum up, I suggest to take...

This is one of the gems of this world, beautiful place with excellent staff and facilities. It is by no means luxurious, but definitely magical!! It's got the highest pub in Africa and great fire places for the cold / snow temperatures!!

Quaint and cozy restaurant at the top of sani pass. Lovely fireplaces if u want to be indoors. Outside offers majestic views of the Lesotho mountains. Been here 3 times now however haven't stayed yet. Food isn't too bad...however it's the drive and the awesome feeling of being at the highest pub in Africa that's the highlight. Tip: u need...

For many years now I have had a "bucket list" item which was to drive up Sani pass and spend the night at the top. On the spur of the moment we booked and my wife and son went this past weekend. It was cold, with a fresh cold front heading up from the Cape. I was pleasantly surprised with...
