A friendly place, helpful staff. Right by the mountainbiking places. Great valley views. Big bedroom but a little chilly (though that may have been me - I was tired!) Good breakfast. Decent pub food. Looks as if it would be incredibly well set up for muddy bikers!

I am sorry to write this but I think you deserve to know so you can put it right. This is my second trip to Afan Lodge after walking to Glyncorrwg and Cymmer. My husband and I called in for a bite to eat today and we were disappointed with our lunch. I had scampi and chips and my husband...

We travel to the lodge by car & always find a place to park (free). The local trails are easily accessible for walking or cycling. Great to see so many local people & visitors from farther afield enjoying the warm hospitality- but always a place to sit. The biker bowl meal option is great for a refuel after cycling with...

Rock tastic! Staff very knowledgeable about the area and the available routes. Always wanting to discus all things mtb. Wow so very welcoming and did everything that they could to make us feel welcome and at ease in our surroundings. Great pub food with lots of portion size to top up on those empty calories from attempting death runs on...

I went to visit this establishment today and was met by a lovely lady at reception, then shown the bar, restaurant and facilities down stairs, including some of the lovely views from just outside the bar. A coffee was purchased at a reasonable price of£1.50. I was able to take some pictures and also advised of their accommodation. This looks...

After a long bike ride we stop off here for some grub & once again we had a fab pit stop. We only had a toasted sandwich & wedges (which were proper homemade, chunky & totally delish) & a coffee. Theres a good vibe there with people there for different things ie food in the restaurant, just a drink in...

What a great find! We travelled down from Shropshire to do 2 days mountain biking at Afan and stayed at Afan Lodge. From the minute you walk in to when you leave, the people who work there cant do enough for you. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a double room, which was spot on! Clean, well...
