I've recently stayed at the Townhouse Hotel with some friends and have to say it is an absolute gem!!! We were welcomed on arrival by the owner 'Sheila' who showed us to our our beautiful rooms - which more than exceeded our expectations. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and drink which were within walking distance, as 'The...

This was in a convenient location for my stay and is close to Gosforth high street. The street is quiet although near enough to the main road. There was some work being done on the property as they are soon to open a cafe in the area where they serve breakfast. The room was small but nicely furnished and deep...

Hi Stercks, Thank you for your review. We have now completed our refurbishment in the restaurant, and I am sure that it wouldn't have caused you any inconvienience, as disruption was minimal, if any at all. The fruit salad is freshly prepared every morning, so I am sorry that you were disapointed. As you booked through Booking.com, it clearly states...

The manager could not do enough for us. We were made to feel so welcome, it was a pleasure staying here. breakfast was excellent. I asked for beans which they didn't have, but they appeared the following morning. Personalised biscuits each afternoon. Comfortable rooms. Very close to high street with lots of great pubs and restaurants. Super place to stay,...

We were warmly welcomed to this small hotel just off the high street: a quiet location. The rooms were well appointed and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. There was a generous breakfast menu, all well cooked. I'd happily stay again

Very pleasant one night stay with nothing much more to add. Parking is on the road outside but hotel provides the permit and mine was even taken out to my car for ne because it was raining when I arrived! No evening meals on site but plenty of choice locally in walking distance - even in the rain. I ate...

The individually decorated bedrooms were stylish and comfortable - with a definite indulgent and luxurious feel. Soft lighting and opulent furnishings make you feel you are being spoilt! The only drawback was noise from the kitchen - one of the rooms we stayed in was at the back of the hotel and we were woken by breakfast preparations. Handy location...
