This resort was carefully chosen for a large family holiday out of many. It met the needs of our group of 15 people ranging from 11 years old to 73 years old. The purpose of the gathering was to celebrate a 50th birthday. The resort staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help the celebrations even more special by adding their own little touches. We especially enjoyed the Beach BBQ experience, booked for us by Janitha and it was a highlight of our holiday. The food has been amazing in all of the places that we have eaten. The evening entertainment was always very varied and enjoyable for all of us. The water sports and other sports offered here were well played. Snorkelling was another highlight, swimming with tropical fish, giant turtles and baby sharks. It is such a relaxing and laid back place that all of us had plenty of rest to recharge the soul. Would give this place 5/5 and more Well we are about to get ready to go to the airport after a fabulous 3 weeks - 2 weeks for our second visit to ADAARAN SELECT MEEDHUPPARU and 1 week in Singapore. Everything has been marvellous- the service on the island was five star and we were looked after like family. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Sonia Armitage for arranging our wonderful trip and to Sobe Mohamed, Janitha Sadaruwan and all the staff 💕. Olivia loved the kids club and the ladies were so kind to her. The spa was tremendous and so were the staff - we could have gone everyday. Dancing to the JJ twins - well no words except - “one more song “ 😂💕 thank you both. Would recommend trips to the locals island and the cooking fishing trip

Amazing place and great for families. Staff so helpful and lots of activities to keep you entertained. Food was decent and varied. Excellent cocktails and great all inclusive offer. We stayed in family villa and it was really well equipped and cleaned. Can't wait to book again

Having been to Maldives previously , sourced this hotel as a Premium All Inclusive and it did not disappoint. For the price paid we were well pleased with its value given the costs of some of its competitors Flew with Qatar - first visit post Covid, major works in course at Male airport and a brand new sea plane terminal with views across the port has been constructed. This island has landing bay on two sides so the planes do mix and match which is helpful in the mornings if your room happens to be on one of those sides We opted for a beach villa which had been upgraded during the pandemic and was spotless with comfy king bed, inside and outside showers , TV, tea & coffee, fridge, safe, sofa, terrace with 2 sunbeds, adequate storage space. Hotel has 4 restaurants within the AI package, - main buffet,, Indian buffet, a la carte which offers beach tables, snack bar which remains open it the evenings and is right in the beach. The hotel does private beach dining and weekly BBQ, both at a chunky supplement Wide choice of food across all restaurants and we always had plenty of choice. The a la carte needs to be prebooked and we went twice as no limitations, obtaining a table on the beach each time. All restaurants offer a good choice of wines from such as Australia, Italy, South Africa etc Main restaurant does get busy and can get quite warm/hot due to the volume of people and maybe in need of stronger fans Infinity pool has a pool bar serving many well known brands - there are no stools in the pool so people do not tend to congregate around the bar - main bar is very spacious and offers evening entertainment plus a super ice cream station. - there is a cocktail bar on the beach reportedly offering over 100 alternatives. Small bar adjacent to reception which had occasional entertainment. There was always sufficient sun beds al sit they are not huge in number - many guests stayed close to their rooms using their room sunbeds and many others took trips/ went diving/ snorkelling. Hotel provided two complimentary trips - dolphin seeking and sunset cruise There is kids club but barely used during our stay as bulk of guests mature adults. Sports on offer both motorised and non motorised - there is a spa which as is invariably the case on these islands, fairly expensive. Hotel offers a variety of trips for all of sight seeing, diving, snorkelling Small retail area, with clothes, diving gear, souvenirs We go to the Maldives to rest, chill & enjoy good food/ drink, get good tans. The resort ticked all the boxes. As is often in the Maldives, very informal dress code, - too informal perhaps sometimes as we do not like to see men in vests, ladies in beachwear in restaurants - shoes not necessarily required given all sand floors. We would go again - which is a rarity for us - so we do warmly recommend - something which is supported by the many repeat visitors it enjoys…

Not really sure where to even start with this review. There isn't much to say other than every aspect of this resort is just amazing and will blow your expectations! This hotel feels like 5* and you are treated like royalty. Had absolutely no issues during our stay and each day just got better and better- we did not want to leave. I have never stayed at a resort where EVERY member of staff is friendly, happy, approachable and willing to go above and beyond for you. We celebrated a birthday and an engagement and I could not have hoped to this this anywhere else. I have always said I will never go back to same place twice as there's just so many places to see, however with this place i could keep coming back. Food is amazing, drinks are even better, rooms are very clean and done twice a day. We stayed in room 209 which was a beach villa. The outdoor shower was lovely, the mini bar was always stocked. Soon as you step out of the room you are greeted by a beach and crystal clear waters. Water Villa restaurant was incredible we had a seafood platter for $140 (share for 2) and the portions were huge using very fresh fish. By far the best seafood we have ever eaten. During the stay we endulged ourselves in the local cuisine trying many curries etc and none of us had an upset stomach which just shows how good quality and fresh all the food is here. I would recommend you visit every restaurant and bar, they're all amazing. Just wanted to finish off this review with a shoutout to all the amazing members of staff. We went for our honeymoon and the island is amazing! The staff and the food were incredible! Our room was beautiful and we also managed to stay in a water villa for a few nights! The water villa restaurant was absolutely incredible! Couldn’t fault this island or anything about it! This holiday was a once in a lifetime trip for us, we never imagine we will get a chance to come back but would do anything to get a chance to come back here! We would in a heartbeat. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that, from talking to other people on the island, if you had been before, or was very friendly with staff, then you got to have special things (which is understandable) but you kinda feel a bit left out when you know it’s your one and only trip there and you want it to be magical. Firstly a massive thank you to all the staff at Meedhupparu who were excellent, there are so many to mention so I will try . Mohamed ( pool bar) , Rashid, Sameera, the pool guys they looked after us every day😎 All the staff at the Halaboli Bar fantastic, but we don’t know their names as no name badges , although Percy is attending to this , to enable people to give positive comments. Cleanliness fabulous, yes the resort is a little tired and is being renovated but this shouldn’t put anybody off , the rooms are large, airy, with outdoors and indoor showers which is different, but a great experience the mini bar is stocked daily with beer soft drinks . The restaurants are mainly buffet with a good selection of food to suit all tastes , the Indian buffet was excellent, again service very good , Thavaa restaurant which is booked by reservation ( book early) was very good for dinner and lunch , Cafe Mass is great for snacks . We upgraded to the water villas for our last two days which was amazing, thanks to Addhu our butler who couldn’t have done any more for us , Nihat at the restaurant who was very attentive. We had a truly wonderful time yes it’s not a 5 star resort but the staff make it 5* . Thanks to staff at dive centre, again really helpful had two amazing dives , we met some wonderful people from different countries who we will keep in touch with . All in all a fabulous Holiday ( we will be back)…
