My partner and I were looking forward to our first holiday away together and Biyadoo looked like it had all we wanted. The speed boat from Male to the resort was a highlight and gave you the time to appreciate the surrounding beauty. After a good 40 minutes we were greeted on the jetty by some of the resort staff...

What an amazing 2 weeks. The island is a natural beauty. The reef is the best I have ever seen in my life. The sand is as white as snow. The water is as blue as the Avatar characters faces! Just an aweinspiring place. A point of conversation on the island was the ridiculous review by FredandOlive so PLEASE don't...

Just back from Biyadhoo. Like other reviewers we had concerns about the accommodation going out, particularly as last year we were at another island in a beach villa but we need not have worried. Flew out from Newcastle with Emirates, a few hours stop over in Dubai and then onto Male. First time with Emirates and must say they were...

We, as other reviewers had seen the comments about dingy rooms but after a recommendation from my boss (who has been twice) we booked.through kuoni. Flew from Heathrow with Sri Lankan air and can't reccommend highly enough. Transfer from the airport was by boat and took 45 mins, life jackets were provided. Room was as expected, basic and dated, but,...

Hi Sadly we arrived back on tuesday 10 July from this perfect wonderful island after a two week break. Where do I begin we honestly did not find any downpoints at all our room was 53 which was amazingly two minutes to our beach which felt very private. The sealife was another breathtaking welcomed view whilst snorkelling you could see...

I think that the previous reviews are very accurate, so the only bits I would add are:- The mossies are a huge pest - they will bite even if you are completely covered in deet! Cover up ( albeit it in very informal attire) for the evenings, when you are sitting in the bar. Make sure you take every thing...

Yes we had read all the comments about it being dank etc, but we booked it because as scuba divers it is one of the suposedly best places in the world to dive. We flew Emirates from Manchester with a quick stop over at Dubai then onto Male, the views of the islands when you pass over them as you...

Well where do we begin? We have just spent an amazing two weeks at Biyadhoo Island Resort, arriving on the 20th June & departing on the 4th July. We arrived on our one year wedding anniversary, which the staff on the island made sure to recognise - our bed sheets had been arranged into the shape of a heart &...
