Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and the location is approx 3 min walking to the bikini beach. The rooftop is a great space to hang out, they have jacuzzis up there too. The room and bathroom are fine, but the balcony is narrow. There is no live tv but you can ask the hotel for a list of movies and they will put it on a usb stick so you can watch it on the tv or better yet bring your own usb loaded with movies. The staff is excellent, they are always there when you need something and all very friendly. Shaheen is the manager of all things! He knows and will arrange everything for you. The food is probably the best in town because all the other guests at other hotels come to Bliss to eat.
During covid times there are restrictions on the island but it doesn’t hamper your stay, the only thing I wish we could’ve done is probably go to a resort island for a day. The Maldivians do very well in managing covid precautions.

This was such an amazing experience !!! We are already jealous of everyone who will stay in this wonderful hotel. 1. The staff is so great, always willing to help, they treat you like a family. 2. The food was one of the best we´ve ever eaten. We decided for half board and were thrilled after every breakfast/dinner. 3. The accommodation. Our standard room offered everything we needed, they cleaned it every day, always changed the towels and left us a bottle of water. 4. The roof. Such a good vibes come to you when you chill in the jacuzzi, or just enjoying the sunset while smoking a shisha. 5. The trips. Every day there is a list of upcoming trip - fishing, snorkeling and so on. We were on sunrise fishing and we had an excellent time. Also the cook prepared for us for dinner the fish we catch and it was delicious! 6. Dhigurah island is very nice island with the most beautiful beaches. We 100% recommend staying at Bliss and thanks for everything! :)

We stayed for eight nights at Bliss Dhigurah and very aptly named it is too as we had a relaxed and blissful time there From the initial contact on line before we booked, the numerous questions we asked, the arrangements for a flight and later a ferry transfer, arrangements for Covid testing and all other arrangements on site, we were very pleasantly surprised by the sheer professionalism of all the Desk and management staff. It meant that we could rest assured and relax knowing that there wouldn’t be any glitches The accommodation was great, very clean, bright and comfortable and very well located - fifty yards to the sheltered beach and lagoon and a five minute walk along the sand road to the “High Street”. There was at least one daily trip out by boat - we went on the whale shark, manta ray and reef snorkelling trips and were lucky enough to see megafauna each time. In fact we went to Bliss Dhigurah specifically to snorkel with mantas and whale sharks and were hugely satisfied with our choice. Snorkelling in the very safe house lagoon nearby was also rewarding as apart from a large variety of colourful reef fish including pipe fish (seahorses), we saw turtles, an eagle ray and from a safe distance a moray eel! The food at their restaurant, Hermit’s, was really good with a reasonably varied menu such that only once did we try eating elsewhere recommended by this site, and we didn’t bother eating out again. If you’re looking for a place where you can truly relax because you know you will be looked after well, so that you can get on and do whatever you want to, then Bliss Dhigurah is my recommendation.

Me and my family stayed at Bliss for nearly two weeks in November 2019. We had the most amazing holiday made all the more lovely by the friendly staff at Bliss (special shoutout to Simona, Bhupi and Azuha!)
The guest house itself was beautiful and clean, with a nice open restaurant area and a sociable roof top terrace. The guest house also provide card/board games and books as well as downloadable films to watch in your room. The bedroom was clean and functional also, with a nice warm shower and a small balcony.
The excursions were reasonably priced considering the amount of time out on the boat (5 hours or so) which gave guests a good chance to see the beautiful marine life around Dhigurah and beyond. Even if you don't manage to see a whale shark on an excursion the Bliss guides ensure that you are still able to do two or three snorkels throughout the excursion. Snacks, drinks and towels are also provided on the excursions. The manta ray excursion was absolutely exhilarating so make sure you don't miss out on that!
The food at Bliss was varied to suit all tastes and the portion sizes are good. The homemade ice cream and espresso hot chocolate pudding were delicious!!! My only recommendations would be to perhaps include an authentic Maldivian curry dish on the menu as I am sure more people would love to try it! Or perhaps the restaurant could have a different "special" each night to add more options to the menu.
Overall, Bliss was the perfect guest house which suited the relaxed pace of this paradise island!

Spent two remarkable and memorable weeks at Bliss with my wife at the end of January 2022.
Before our arrival the Bliss staff assisted us in booking connections/internal flights providing helpful information for our stay, replies were very fast and accurate.
On arrival day we received a warm welcome from the staff followed by some key information/coordinates to help us start our journey in the best way. Even it was a bit late and the kitchen was closing, the Bliss staff arranged the dinner for us, very much appreciated, we were really tired and hungry!
The double bed-room was so so quiet and the bed was really comfortable. All was absolutely clean, housekeeping staff did a great work every morning to quickly tidy up and clean everything, we got every day water, towels, beach towels without neither asking. We also used the excellent laundry service, cheap and fast!!
The hotel is no more than 1 minute away from the North West beach. The beach is not crowded so you can easily find a spot to enjoy the turquoise water and sunbathe, no rumors, no noisy people, no rubbish, just sun, coconut plants, stunning water and relax. Did I already mention relax? :)
If you walk on the beach for about 40 minutes you will reach Long beach…a looong sandbank surrounded by flat, clear, crystal water. We went there early in the morning (check tides if you go) and honestly we haven't seen anyone. I don't know how to describe it, private paradise maybe?!?
All the staff, reception people, facilities/housekeeping guys, waiters, managers are so so kind and polite, smiling all the time and happy to assist us or just talk. It appears to me that everyone truly loves his job and being there.
We booked for half-board (breakfast and dinner) but also had many lunches in Hermit's, the Bliss restaurant. The food is good, there is a good mix of local and international dishes. They made sure all the times that we enjoyed our food and arranged variations to accommodate intolerances and our needs, all this sweetened with unlimited politeness and happiness.
We attended 3 excursions organized by Bliss to see whale sharks, mantas and a snorkeling safari. Special mention goes to Simona and to the crew involved in the excursions that enabled us to have a great time and feel strong, bold and unforgettable emotions while swimming side by side with whale sharks and mantas.
A big hug to all the Bliss staff, you guys make it very hard to go back home uh :p
I strongly recommend staying in Bliss and in Dhigurah to everyone looking for a stunning, relaxing holiday in Maldives!

We found out about the hotel through TikTok. In particular, the cooperation with a PADI (international diving association) diving school and the super nice contact with Maldha & Marlou in the booking process had a positive influence on our decision to book vacation at Bliss Dhigurah. We had wonderful 10 days at Bliss Dhigurah. The hotel (reception area, room, restaurant) is very modern and nicely furnished. There are great relaxation areas in front of and on the roof of the hotel that invite you to hang out. The beach is a minute from the hotel. Since Dhigurah is a local island, we enjoyed a great untouched nature. The on-site staff was always very helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. We booked full board which included breakfast, lunch, dinner and water in connection with meals and in the room. The food is very tasty and really diverse. There was everything from burgers to local dishes to pizza. The service in the restaurant is - just like in the hotel - amazing. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Bliss Dhigurah. ... one further comment: the diving and snorkeling areas around Dhigurah are fantastic. We still can't quite believe that we got to see whale sharks and manta rays.

This is how they welcome when you get to Bliss, and actually at first it may seem to strong of of statement, but wait for a few hours (not days), and you will understand that it's actually too little to describe the whole experience. Bliss is a very cool guesthouse where you will not only feel in "paradise", but also feel at home. Service is excellent, everybody will go out of their way to make you feel happy and not just a "paying guest", but more part of the family. You will not find the resort opulence, but if you chose to come to this island, you should not be looking for that . At Bliss, you will find yourself in a perfectly neat place, in the best location of the isalnd (50 steps form the main gorgeous bikini beach), some sober Dutch design, and an excellent cuizine. Every dish has been an addiciton for us. The tour and sea safari part is also very well organized and again the courtsey of the staff will make you feel cuttled and safe even when swimming with the sharks! It was our fist time in the Maldives, and we could not have wished for a more wonderful experience. Thanks to Sofien, Marlou, Simona and literally the entire staff for making our stay so special. We were so sada when our stay was over, but we will be back. Super highly recommend for a great vacation and experience.

My family and I set out for a typical vacation and came across Bliss. We booked for March but after COVID hit our family we had to reschedule our trip for early June. The staff was not only understanding but accommodating and rebooked our stay. Upon arriving the staff was very welcoming our children immediately felt comfortable and adored the staff just as much as they adored the locals, the wild kittens. We reserved the loft so that our family of 4 would comfortable and it was plenty of room within very close proximity to bikini beach. Housekeeping is amazing, we'd leave our room randomly in the morning for breakfast or excursions and it was almost as though they would watch to not inconvenience our family but promptly tidy our room while we were out. One of the best feelings is coming back to the loft with clean towels and floors after a long day in the sun. Hermits has to be one of our favorite places on the planet. The food was always fresh and delicious, the chefs do not get enough recognition! I still dream of their Tandoori pizza. The waiters are so friendly, consider yourself lucky if you get to meet Ravi, Bhupi, or Ina - some of the best in the world! The entire kitchen staff is amazing but we constantly saw these 3 and my children adored them. As far as excursions - If you're visiting the Maldives to see wildlife they have one of the best guides. We cannot say enough great things about Shaheen and his boat crew. They would get just as excited as we would to see things from the surface, almost like it was their first time as well. We saw so much wildlife to include the celebrities of South Ari, Whale sharks. Lastly, the management, they are amazing people. They genuinely care about the staff and you can tell in the way the staff work together and for the guests. We miss this place always, it was unlike any other trip we've ever taken. I have a feeling it will never be beat. If you are looking for an amazing stay where you don't have to worry about anything, where you feel like you've known the people, where it just feels good. This is it.

My stay at Bliss was brilliant. The staff is very professional and very friendly. They do everything to make your stay phenomenal. I stayed in a deluxe room, it was big enough, the hammock on the balcony was very comfortable and the housekeeping will clean your room every morning, great service. The food in the hotel was delicious! If you’re staying in Bliss, you definitely need to try the Calamari, Tuna steak and don’t forget the homemade coconut ice cream. You can’t leave the hotel without trying these dishes. Absolutely delicious. I have done a couple of excursions, the boat trips were amazing and the staff on the boat are very helpfull. My stay at Bliss Dhigurah was amazing, I loved it.

My wife and I stayed for 10 days at Bliss. Everything during our stay was great! The staff there are super friendly and engaging and will help you with whatever you need during your stay. The guesthouse is nicely decorated and furnished and has a beautifiul rooftop. They offer many different excursions and the guesthouse is located only a 5 minute walk from the bikini beach on the island. Breakfast was great and attached to the guesthouse is their restaurant (Hermit's) with the option to add full board to your stay. NOTE: During the time of our stay (December) there was almost nothing open on the island, including other restaurants, so your dining options outside of Hermit's might be limited depending on when you come.
Overall we had a great stay. Many thanks to Anne, Shaheen, and the rest of the Bliss staff for a great time!

There is no all inclusive in Bliss nor in any other hotels in Dhigurah. As well as there is no alcohol, as this is not a resort island. Go to Dhigurah if you wish to meet nature and natives. In any other case, choose a resort island!
