Fihalhohi Review Feb2010. HOLIDAY & FLIGHTS:- Flew with First Choice Feb 9th 2010 for 2 weeks from Manchester. Booked a water bungalow November 08 as soon as holidays came out and got an excellent price-£3200 for the 2 weeks full board. We have tried to do this again for 2011 but the prices were far higher- @ £4600 for the...

REEF> Amazing. We have friends who have visited (alot more expensive) 4+* islands where the reef and array of marine life certainly wasn't as healthy. We saw MILLIONS of fish and turtles every day. The harmless reef sharks swam in the shallows. We saw Octopus and Eagle Rays too. Fish hunting (wow)! You can't snorkel around about a third of...

My husband and I booked this holiday a year in advance and couldn't waist to get there! We flew from Gatwick with first choice/Thompson on the 5th of Feb 2010, flight was about 9hrs45mins going out to Male, we upgraded to Premium when we booked the holiday and it was well worth the extra money, more legroom, all drinks were...

We travelled to Fihalhohi from Manchester on 29th December with first Choice. We travelled from Bedford to Manchester during sleet with everything we had crossed that we would beat the forecasted heavy snow fall that day - which we did. The flight was fine - didn't pay for chosen seats as I personally think £50 is a bit much -...

We were greeted efficiently and arrived at the island in good time. We were allocated rooms...

This was our second holiday to Fihalhohi, our first being in 2007 to help get over our impending 50th birthdays. The first time we had a water bungalow but as they had all gone when we booked this time we had a classic. Of course nothing can compare to the luxury of the water bungalows, and I would highly recommend...

We had a bagged a real bargain with First Choice, and having been to the Maldives twice before, were expecting to have to make some compromises this time – we couldn’t have been more wrong! The island is beautiful, food quality and choice excellent and overall we had an amazing week and would go back in a heartbeat. My husband...
