This was our fourth visit to the Maldives; previously we have visited Veligandu, Mirihi and Komandoo. I chose this island because of its size as I wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday. At the time of booking I was not told about the construction of the extra 17 water villas and when I read about it in a TripAdviser review I...

Stayed for a week here for our honeymoon the first week in April. A lovely relaxed island, friendly staff and a real 'homely' feel about the place - we didnt want to leave!! Direct flight from Gatiwck with Thomson on time and okay. The first glimpse of the Maldives from above was awesome! Upon arrival it appeared that as it...

A great 3 star island. Food fantastic, not too repetative as some reviews have said. Gained half a stone in two weeks, so that should say something. The reef is the best yet seen within the Maldives. You want to come face to face with a large shark, heres the place to snorkel. Numerous fish, turtles, moray eels and rays...

This resort was recommended to us by Jim Forrest at Maldives Direct http://www.maldivesdirect.uk.com/, after we’d spent hours trawling the internet and holiday brochures. It was our first trip to the Maldives and every resort sounded wonderful. Jim listened to our needs and recommended we got for a two centre stay involving Thulagiri and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu. It turned out...

We stayed at Thulhaagiri for our honeymoon and I think I got it in my head that it would be paradise and due to it being our honeymoon we might have been treated a little more 'special' if that makes sense (think got too spoilt in Sri Lanka where we had our wedding!!) and I think as didn't and the...

Went to Thulagiri some time ago and can't less than confirm the previous reviews. It's a small no-shoe island with an excellent house reef. The food was good and fresh, although somewhat monotonous. The beach bungalow was clean and air-conditioned with TV (who cares?). Spent most of the time diving or snorkeling. The PADI club was very friendly, and the...

The bungalows were spacious and cleaned a few times daily . Staff were extremely friendly, helpful throught the resort . The food was exellent...

We’ve just got back from a very good holiday here and although I looked at reviews here before I booked, some of the more recent ones would have put me off going, which would have been a pity. I think it is very important to be sure of what you want before booking. This resort is not the Taj Exotica....

This resort was recommended by our travel agent as a reasonably priced resort in high season. We paid $900 per night for an all inclusive water bungalow. However, I don't think this represented great value for money. Good points: My husband did 4 dives which he said were the best he had done - manta rays, sharks, the works. (Mind...

We stayed here for 3 days last week. My travel agent recommended we stay here and we booked about 6 months ago and paid $650AUD per night, full board. The water bungalows and beaches looked stunning. They are building more water bungalows but you hardly noticed unless you stood directly infront of them. You dont hear any construction and there...
