Great welcome and really accepting of our puppy.Excellent meal on a very busy evening. Recommend this pub for a satisfying visit. Especially if you like Gin ( which I do not!!) Guinness good though. Give it a try. Think we will go back and try a lunch. Young men serving were very friendly.

Great little jewl in the Crown, lovely village Inn friendly staff and locals, good amount of seating to choose from. The food was very good and tasty, you do get large portions. Ed was a star running around keeping everyone happy with good humour to boot. Just had a really nice home cooked meal in a great setting.

This summer I walked the entire South West Coast Path to raise money for FORCE and Over and Above, two South West charities that support cancer patients and their families. Damien and Teresa at the Trevelyan Arms very kindly agreed to be one of my Accommodation Partners and Gold Sponsors. The Trevelyan Arms is a nice village pub just a...

We stayed for one night, in order to be close to the Scilly Parking at Ludgvan, prior to getting the boat from Penzance. This is a slightly chaotic, locally-favoured pub, in a small Cornish village. There were lots of families in the bar; it also had a large attendance in its "rum" dining bar for bingo! The owners have taken...

We've visited the Trevelyan Arms twice this week, both for supper with the kids. It's a friendly pub, very relaxed and the food is good pub food, prices are just right with good portions and choice. So all good and well worth a visit.... If we'd had more time they had a nice range of beers and gins plus a...

Really lovely people and good traditional pub food. We can recommend the specials. Warm welcome, including the dog. Also, the pub is frequented by the most lovely lady we have ever met, Margaret the queen of the village. Fantastic place to eat and drink.

A comfortable traditional pub, friendly staff and customers. The menu is not the usual pub fare, but lovely restaurant quality dishes. The range of curries offered are especially good, but be careful - when it says hot, believe it! Apart from usual beers and spirits, there is a good range of rums too.

Another roast, another Sunday. I joke it was more than another roast. Charming pub with great staff and a cook who produces the best Sunday roasts we've ever had in a pub. Good value, ample portions and so tasty. Strongly recommend a visit if you're in this neck of the woods. If not for lunch there is also an extensive...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Traditional Cornish village pub with accommodation and dining. Well-stocked bar offering a feast of spirits including over 60 different rums, plus a generous selection of whisk(e)ys, gins and other tasty spirits. We offer wholesome freshly cooked food in our lounge six/seven nights a week, all year round, using fresh and locally sourced produce offering you great value for money. Children, families and dogs are always welcome at anytime in either the public bar or the lounge. As a former manor house for Lord Trevelyan, this 17th-century property stands at the centre of the village of Goldsithney. It has also been a coaching house, a bank and post office in its time, but these days is very much the traditional family-run Cornish pub. Situated just 1/2 mile inland from the Cornish coastal path, we are within walking distance of Mount's Bay and the iconic National Trust property, St Michael's Mount. The closest beach at Perranuthnoe is just a 15 minute walk. Land's End is 20 minutes by car and both south and north coasts are easily accessible. ... more   less
