Stayed for 2 nights during a business trip. Felt like a home from home - like having your own house in which to wander around. Situated down a tree lined drive from the main road. Breakfast had an excellent choice of options however seating is limited. Timing is everything to make sure you are able to get a table.

The rooms are big and comfortable. The room was clean, quiet. For breakfast you can have salty and sweet food. Everything we chose was delicious. The restaurant is really a place to try. We found live music there. We loved that evening. If you want to have a walk you can go out to the garden if the hotel. I...

We stayed for 22 days in this wonderful Hotel. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. This was a perfect place for our home base to visit relatives and site seeing around Lucca and surrounding areas. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and the bathroom very roomy. The continental breakfast had a great assortment of delicious foods. If you like...

We stayed here for two nights after reading all the positive reviews. The staff are very friendly and helpful and hotel feels like a rambling home. It was extremely peaceful in the hotel as it is located down a private driveway off the main road to Lucca. It was a great base to visit Lucca and Pisa if you have...

Have used this hotel on numerous occasions for business trips. Super staff and a good value trattoria next door where you eat very well. My first choice when in the area. Ample parking facilities at no charge.

I stay in this hotel ever time I trip in business purpose. It is very nice and silent place. Nice and comfortable rooms. There is also good restaurant next to the hotel so anytime one can have his eating "at the place".

Lucca is a really lovely little town and close enough to other destinations (including Cinque Terre) that this lovely villa could be a great home base for many days of touring. It's almost magical when you drive up the driveway through the tunnel made of linden trees and emerge at this lovely old home. The oldest part of the villa...

We needed to be fairly close to Pisa airport to pick up our daughters, but we also wanted to use our overnight stop to visit some stately homes in the Lucca area. This hotel was perfectly located (if a bit difficult to find originally). The car park was ample and there is a pretty garden filled with sculptures on the...

We were in Lucca for a concert, and hotels were packed; booking only the day before there was little choice, but the Hambros was available. The property is 7kms out side Lucca, but in a marvellous, if incongruous, setting. The distance to town proved no issue as parking is well available and the drive only about 15 minutes. The hotel...
