The people were nice and the idea of eco place was good but the location wasn't good. If u want to enjoy of a quiet place between the nature it's ideal but keep in mind that a 10 min trip by trycicle is needed to get there. There were only 2 toilets and they were together with the showers which means that if someone is showering you can't use the toilet as it is inside the shower. When you finished showering the toilet floor was flooded. I love animal and I know it is a natural a space but I don't think it is appropriate to have 8 dogs jumping on you when you are trying to get some food because they aren't feed. As well the table was very low so they were on the table eating your food . The food was very nice otherwise . If you are allergic to cats/ dogs don't stay here, you would have food surrounded by animals ,we also saw them eating food from the pan inside the kitchen and staff wouldn't really care or do anything. You will have to remind them several times if you want something like ( breakfast, extra blankets etc) During the night there weren't many light and sometimrs toilet lights weren't working so you weren't able to see a thing so bring torches. Good idea but needs a lot of work to get there.

You’re not going to find a nicer hostel in all of Coron, maybe let alone the Philippines. Ben the owner is the loveliest guy, going above and beyond to help you out in any way he can. The huts are nice and beds are great. The food is the best I’ve had in all of the Philippines, no lie it’s so amazing. The hostel has such a good, family feel to it. Can’t recommend this enough, just wish I stayed longer. Also no need to rent motorcycles in town as you can rent them from Ben for a better rate!! Simply the best x

Original and ingeniously build into the forest. Their new huts/bungalows are comfortable and eco-friendly. The small ones are a bit tight  but will be converted and rebuilt soon. Ben is still building and improving the facilities and cares a lot about the nature and environmental impact. Great person! They run 100% with solar energy. Their food is excellent, so experience every evening their family dinner. Don't always expect to have breakfast before you leave for a tour, sometimes nobody is around. Quiet lodge but sometimes noisy neighbourhood. Scooter rental available. The volunteers workers we saw there don't really give the feeling they are helping and working around. They were more like customers hanging around. Great place!
