I cannot express how I fell in love with this place. I had electric accessibility all day in my room. There was an old post by someone online that said the electricity was limited in the room. Please disregard it because it is a very old post. Let me explain the highlights of this resort. The rooms are authentic, aesthetically captivating, and blends with the natural beauty of the island. The amenities of the resort is exactly what you expect from a place designed to help you escape and relax. Whether you’re a solo traveler, couple or a large family, this resort accommodates to all types. The large infinity pool was absolutely gorgeous. I took a variety of Instagram worth shots with the beautiful rock cliffs in the background. The beach itself was clean and the water was so clear. You’re able to use their kayaks and row to the floating house on there resort property, and snorkel. At the flowing house, you can find an abundance of fish and clams. This was my particularly favorite feature of the resort because it was pretty exclusive to the residents at the resort. The food was affordable, fresh and delicious. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and never had a dish we did not like. The staff were beyond courtesy and accommodating. Shoutout to Brian at the front desk who was always smiling and incredibly friendly. He helped us book our tours and boat trips to and from town, always checked in on us and just made the place an extension of our home. Lastly my fiancé, Tita and Tito were able to meet one of the owners, Emily, and her husband, who happened to be staying at the resort at the same time. We chatted for hours and enjoyed their company at the breakfast table, and when we had ran into them at the boat dock. Emily informed us about Coron and their intentions to preserve the natural beauty of the area. The resort itself is a testimony of their efforts. There is WiFi at the front desk, but not in the rooms. It allows for everyone staying to enjoy the presence of those around them and the country itself. Take advantage of that experience. We are entirely too consumed by the Wifi that we forget to appreciate the beauty around us. I am beyond grateful for this experience and could not have booked a better place. I have every intention of returning back not only with my fiancé but with his family as well, so they can experience what we experienced for four days.

We stayed in the couples rooms with an amazing view. Steps up were a pleasant challenge but worth it. Room nice, you have to ask for it to be cleaned which we discovered after 3 days. Bathroom could do with a refurb but ok. I put a pool towel down for a mat. The pick up from Balinsasayaw quick stop shop was well organised, the owner just rang and the lads carried our bags to the boat. We stocked up on drinks and nibbles at the shop. They drop us off at the end of the stay and we took a tricycle to town. Lack of information ...we had to keep asking about everything.. milk for the tea, pool towels, room service etc etc, which was a bit of a bind but when asked the staff leapt up and did the job very willingly. Shame they aren't proactive instead of re active Food fine, set menu for Ps 300 which filled us up, they seek you out to see if you want to dine as food cooked to order-fresh. Didn't like the cats in the dinning area and didn't like to have to listen to the receptionist's own music and gaming which they were playing while we were dinning. Wi fi only in the dinning room and again the staff were using it so it was very slow. Dined twice on the beach in cabanas, for no extra charge, which was nice Free water tea coffee but had to ask for milk, spoons, tea bags etc etc Lots to do, comfortable sun loungers, lovely pool which we had mostly to ourselves. Free kayak, life vests, paddle boards. Floating house on a nearby reef just off shore, kayak to it but it is not their private house so a couple of trip boats use it as well. Go there about 9 to 10am to have it to yourself. Amazing fish. We paddled the kayak to Coron Island...loved it, wind gets up in the afternoon so make sure you can get back. We had 4 nights here and did not get bored. Staff lovely but it was very off putting to see them playing pool, sitting on sun loungers and laying on the table by the kayaks. I understand that they must get bored when they are not working but they should be provided with a separate staff relaxing area. The beach and land to the right as you enter the hotel really needs a good rubbish removal, yuck. The dinning room toilet was grubby, no toilet roll and this was also the only toilet for the pool area. The staff need a good manager and training. It would make a big difference to the guest experience. All in all despite this I preferred this resort to the Two Seasons Bayside and would recommend staying at Balinsasayaw if you want to visit Coron Island

Great experience in Coron, Palawan. We stayed at the Balinsasayaw Resort, where we felt we were sharing the island with only a few families and couples. The staff were very attentive and the food was truly tasty (forgot to ask if the chef was from Pampanga). Lots of activities at the resort itself, you can go snorkeling in the near by coral reef or you can go on an island hopping tour, using the resorts tour guide and boat (really felt exclusive and the tour guide was very knowledgeable). Already planning for the next bigger family trip.

We stayed here for 2 relaxing nights and it was perfect to get away from the busy Coron town. We got picked up by boat and it’s about a 10 minute trip to the resort. We were greeted with a welcome drink and the views were stunning. If you are looking for a place to put your phone down (wifi is pretty much non existent), get into a good book and enjoy the scenery then this is the place for you. The accommodation is basic and expect local wildlife to join you as the huts are amongst the foliage. They have aircon and hot water and were clean upon arrival. The pool is big and the hammocks were our favourite bit while watching the sunset. The use of kayaks and paddle boards are also free of charge with the house reef just in front of the hotel. The food is a set menu everyday and portions are very big. You can also get a boat back to Coron town for 800 pesos if you would rather eat there.
