location is realyy top ! don't expect to find any stores in the neighbourhood ! the vieuw is amazing ! beautifull sunrise the tours they offer a great ! ( island hopping ) and not expensive ! The food is ok ! not great ,but ok ! most of the time they have wine or coke zero (not always ) the only negative is that they close the restaurant at 9 pm . So you have the feeling that they want you out of the restaurant before 9 pm . rooms are beautiful ! fridge ,sateliet tv , it takes a few minutes beforte you get hot water . nice terras with beautiful view . very helpful and friendly staff ! I defenetly want to go back one day !

We found the River House while looking for a nice place not to far from the airport as our other hotel didn’t have availability yet. We are so happy about that now as the River House was the best way to start our holiday: the crew was so warm and welcoming and the place very relaxing and in the middle of nature. We loved our little cabin and balcony and all the nature sounds at night (even the very noisy gecko’s and birds). The firefly tour was lovely too. Thank you River House crew!

This property is in North Busuanga which is 10 mins from the airport and an excellent base to do the Dugong snorkel/dive. North Busuanga offers pristine beaches, firefly watching and great diving. The property is secluded so be prepared to book tours via the hotel at a reasonable cost. The food at the hotel is delicious in every meal. The staff are very helpful and they are always willing to help. You need to wait for the shower to get warm. Also do not expect a fast wifi due to the location. You can ask the hotel to organise a van to pick you up as a shared transfer. You do not need the private transfer which the hotel also offers. Overall the hotel was clean, spacious, excellenr tour offers and meals are delicious and reasonably price. A much better option than Coron Town.

This isn’t anywhere near Coron town so you don’t really leave the hotel once you’re there (which was ok for us). The restaurant was fine (but you have to pre order meals a few hours before) and the staff are lovely. The rooms are quite noisy due to the wildlife (frogs and crows mainly) but otherwise we’re lovely with good views). We went diving with Duogong Dive Centre (affiliated with the hotel) and I really wouldn’t recommend that as we had big safety concerns (see separate review). There are about ten dogs on the property, not an issue for us (and staff do try to usher them away from guests) but worth noting. There are lots of frogs around and the mosquitos were very bad (we got bitten a lot even with deet repellent).

We discovered this place by accident, since we ran out of places to stay at during our Coron trip (everything was fully booked during the time). But I'm glad we did because this place is such a hidden gem. Yes, it is quite far from the city proper, BUT IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. If you're visiting Coron for some unadulterated nature trip that's on the serene and quiet side, this is the perfect place. They had express check-in so we were able to get settled in no time. Food at the restaurant was sort of a hit or miss. Some were pretty good, some were average. But none of them left me disappointed. The rooms were spacious and beddings were comfortable. Cable TV didn't work, tho. The owners were pretty hands on, and actually entertained the guests asking around how the food is, and how the overall experience has been. Most of all, the staff is a super win as they are very thoughtful and proactively offers help to their guests. ------------ Some people complain about the distance of this hotel from the city, but if you would like to experience a different side of Coron, then this is a hit! It's perfect for returning visitors of Coron who wants a new experience apart from the city proper.…
