The service was amazing.....every little detail was covered. The rooms were beautifully but tastefully decorated.....allowing us to submerge in the environment and the culture. The location was perfect, secluded, quiet and surrounded by amazing countryside and cultural activities. All amenities were provided, in excellent condition and spotlessly maintained. The food was amazing! Catering for all "tastebuds" a huge variety was...

There aren't enough adjectives to describe what a wonderful place Casa Portagioia is. It's a beautiful bed and breakfast set in a valley of Tuscan tranquility. Terry and Marcello are the perfect hosts and have thought of everything to make their guests' stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and charming with amenities not often found in the standard European B&B....

We stayed there for four days in April last year and wished it was longer. Terry and Marcello couldn't be more gracious and helpful. They gave great suggestions for visiting the surrounding countryside, and even lent us a GPS for our drive around southern Tuscany. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was generous with fresh eggs and bacon...

My fiancee and I visited Casa Portagioia last June and from the moment we set eyes on the place we were smitten. It is a truly magical place that I think about often - in fact we have chosen it as the place we will get married this year. Go there and experience the magic for yourself - you won't...

It's difficult to find something new to rave about Casa Portagioia and I'm slightly tempted to say 'Ditto to every other great review x 10'. We stayed at the lovely Casa Portagioia (Casa Port-a-joy-a’) for one night during our mad driving tour of Italy in September of 2010, and it was the highlight of our trip. Every detail of the...

We stayed at Casa Portagioia for 4 nights in June 2010. Terry and Marcello were great hosts. Our early arrival was a bit of bother until Marcello whipped up the most delicious lunch. This saved us from taking the car out again and allowed us to take in the gorgeous surrounds of this beautiful property. From that moment on we...

In planning our stay in Tuscany, the challenge was selecting a bed and breakfast. In our search, we literally stumbled on the website for Casa Portagioia and recognized we did not need to search anymore. The website, tuscanbreaks.com, was extensive, informative, extremely helpful and inviting. We had no doubt as we begain our trip we had chosen well. We were...

We stayed at Casa Portagioia for 4 nights during our honeymoon in Italy. This was by far the best part of our trip! We wish we had chosen to stay longer! Our arrival was a bit rough after missing our train, being rerouted, and arriving at the rental car place in Arrezo after it closed that evening. Once our cab...
