We booked the whole bunkhouse for a two nights over a weekend The building is a fantastic looking old chapel and there are great views of the mountains directly in front of it It was really handy to be on the main road as it was easy to find even in the snow The bunkbeds, toilets and showers were clean...

A warm welcome from Gwyn at the Ogwen Bunkhouse. Will definitely stay again. Great value and good location for Snowdonia climbs but also only a short drive from Bethesda. Log-burner, under floor heating and free wi-if.

Gwyn's bunkhouse was excellent. It was an overbrimmingly full house for the first three nights, and very lively. Gwyn came down with his dog Floss to check on us and it was always a delight to see them burst through the door. Gwyn has lots of good tips about walks directly from the Bunkhouse and is great fun to talk...

I stayed here two weeks ago with my trainer David while we climbed Crib Goch on Snowdon and I have to admit it's amazing digs. Plenty of rooms, beds, a huge communal area and excellent kitchen facilities. The owner Gwyn is a lovely, helpful chap full of local knowledge with a great sense of humor. I look forward to our...

Gwyn is really friendly and made me feel totally at home. Good wifi and clean facilities. I stayed midweek and was on my own for the first night and joined by 3 blokes on the second night. We sat outside in the sunshine and all enjoyed a beer/cider with Gwyn. Will definitely stay there again.

If you need somewhere to stay in the north of wales, this should be your only port of call. Gwynn is a fantastic host, and a nice guy too. Our group of 4 had the place to ourselves during the 4 days we stayed, and on arrival after a fairly epic 12 hour bike ride in the absolute pouring rain,...

I was lucky enough to have the place to myself for two weeks last month whilst staying away for work. I cannot express how much I enjoyed coming home to the bunkhouse after a day at work. There is a self catered kitchen for prepping meals and a shower fed by a mountain stream (heated obviously). Personally I loved the...

Booked this place for my brothers 50th. Invited good old friends. Is cheap. Is good. Is very interesting. Glyn is great, good convo and interesting storey of renovation of chapel, brilliant mix of people (on our visit). View over the road is fantastic. Smell in the room not all that. But a great laugh/chill had by all. The communal facilities...

Comfortable and warm, with a well equipped kitchen, a HOT log-burner, and the owner Gwyn offers a warm welcome. I visited with a group of friends on a weekend trip to the nearby Zip World. We were able to walk to the zip-wire along a very scenic pathway from Ogwen Valley Bunkhouse, which really added to the experience. Gwyn was...
