This wonderful B & B is where you will find a very warm welcome. Andy and Janet are fantastic hosts who could not do enough for you and nothing was too much bother for them. The room was so comfortable and spacious, the food was brilliant and there were so many thoughtful little touches to write about here but they...

Jan & Andy's hospitality is second to no-one. We highly recommend Heron's point and would definitely book again when traveling to the Western Isles. Andy generously shares his time & local knowledge and he cooks a superb breakfast!

Jan & Andy went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They deserve every one of their five star ratings! The facilities were extremely clean and the breakfasts were fabulous and made from local ingredients whenever possible. They are world travellers themselves, and I suspect that they have taken inspiration from their many travel experiences and brought them...

Beautifully kept B&B, a warm introduction and welcome, advise regarding eating out (even reserved the table for us - highly recommend Polochar Inn). Warm, comfortable en suite room, with all bedding, towels, kettle, teas & coffee, sweet treats. Silent night, with an early start. Ample food, delicious and great quality. We would highly recommend!

Our stay at Heron Point was excellent. We stayed late in October and were very lucky to find a vacancy at short notice. From the moment of arrival Andy and Jan wanted to ensure that we had everything that we needed. He quickly booked us what turned out to be a superb evening meal nearby, again despite being late in...

Throughout Scotland, we were lucky enough to stay at excellent B&Bs only. But even by such high standards, Heron Point is amazing. Andy and Jan made us feel very welcome, sat down with us to suggest activities we would (and did!) enjoy, organised ferry tickets for us, and were lovely with our children. Just perfect!

Jan and Andy work incredibly hard to make you feel welcome and make the most of your stay. As well a s the superb breakfasts it's all the little extras that make your stay so memorable. What is the best 'extra' is the lovely guest lounge that is available all day - a feature you find in few bed and...

My wife and I spent 3 lovely nights at Jan and Andy's excellent B&B. Andy and Jan work tirelessly to make you feel at home at Heron Point, and provided lots of help to ensure we made the most of our stay on South Uist. As others have commented, Andy's breakfasts were fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay at Heron...

My husband and I spent a night here and I wish it had been a longer stay. Jan and Andy were perfect hosts. They couldn't have been more helpful with ferry and bus schedules as we did not have a car. They drove us to a local hotel where we could get dinner. Later we gathered with the other guests...

Super clean rooms with a very attentive host Andy, cups of tea & cake, ferry advice, evening nibbles and drinks in the TV lounge [no TV in room]. Typical Scottish breakfast and sent on our way with a packet of home made cake.
