My wife, ten year old daughter and I enjoyed a 3 day stay at the Lodge as guests of a close friend. The drive from Johannesburg was manageable, with the roads in fairly good condition. Once we arrived it became immediately obvious that the Lodge was popular. The rooms were in excellent condition, clean and well maintained. The shower had...

It's a nice place with friendly staff. It's a biker lodge no doubt. But a family would find the place comfortable as well. The owner is a real bike enthusiast. The food was good and the bar man is a friendly guy who know the surroundings. Ask him for places to visit nearby. The place is bit off road from...

We stayed for 2 nights - our room was clean, with a view of the mountains. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Dinner was divine- large portions - best Eisbine around. Great Value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and willing to share local knowledge A down to earth, comfortable lodge.

It is challenging to be objective after a sleepless night. Mattress in our room had lost its spring long ago, squeaking at our every turn, taps turning on itselves, musty smell, overall quite depressing. Not the cleanest and very dated. Maybe other rooms offer more comfort and cleanliness but I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

We arrived at the Maluti Mountain Lodge and we were greeted by a lady who helped us with our booking. They were very accommodating as we had booked into another place which had a problem and we couldn't stay there. The people were friendly and our rooms were nice, more than enough space and facilities for 2 people staying in...
