Just spent a week at this delightful b and b. Being recently widowed and holidaying alone Karyn and Maarten made me feel relaxed and very welcome even though I was the only English resident. A fabulous place to stay if you visit the Perigord region of the Dordogne. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and hope to stay...

The inn was lovely with 5 rooms, all differently and beautifully decorated in a mix of old farmhouse and modern shabby-chic. The grounds are landscaped with a spectacular mix of color and variety. Sparkling pool. Karyn and Martin, the owners, are welcoming and delightfully funny, accommodating, and great cooks. We will return, hopefully, next year. Such a nice surprise and...

I visited this B&B with my new wife for a mini-honeymoon after we got married this June. Everything about this B&B exceeded our expectations, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the proprietors were extremely friendly. The decor was fitting to the countryside in France however not outdated, the rooms were decorated well and the general vibe was that of...

Our stay was perfect in every way. Martin and Karen were awesome, gracious, always accommodating. Our rooms were impeccable, comfy, cozy and beautifully decorated. It was a most authentic experience, and I would encourage anyone visiting the Dordogne region to stay with these lovely people who put much heart in their bed and breakfast.

Of the many places we stayed in Europe last month, this beautiful B&B in the French countryside was our favorite! Our room was lovely and the attached bath spacious and more than adequate. The setting was tranquil and the grounds were stunning in autumn. The best thing about our stay was the warmth and care we received at the hands...

We travel extensively but have hardly ever felt compelled to write a review until now. We had such an incredible stay at La Roche D'Esteil that I felt we had to. We spent four nights with Karin and Martin in October 2015. The room, the bed, the beautiful surroundings made it hard to leave for sight-seeing. We've never felt so...

We were very happy with our two night stay. We found the hosts to be very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast - including homemade madeleines, fromage frais and jams - was lovely. Our room was very homely, clean and comfortable. It's also a great location for exploring the Dordogne area. Overall, we would highly recommend a stay at La...
