My wife and I ate here twice and cannot praise the Grassington House Hotel highly enough, We both felt our meals were outstanding both, in presentation and flavour. The staff are pleasant, helpful and professional. To summarise the best 'eating out experience' we have had for some time. We just wished we lived locally !

We ate here on the 2nd March and had the 4 course gourmet meal with the inclusive wine package. It was actually five courses and have to say it was one of the best meals I have had in many a year. Further to this the service was exemplary. All in with a couple of pre meal drinks it came...

We have stayed here several times over the last 20 years but the hotel was getting to be more shabby than chic. However we returned in January and were amazed by the upgrades on the rooms the quality is very high end yet the place retains a quaint charm. The views are superb and the location can't be beaten. The...

Ate a very nice Sunday lunch here with good choice of local produce on the menu. The food was excellently presented and the service good. The Grassington lamb and Wakefield rhubarb were particularly good. The setting is nice without being spectacular. The location however is very handy for exploring the village (the local folk museum is next door).

The service is friendly but the menu is just a little too keen to establish itself as being the Yorkshire branch of Borough Market. You can read all about the credentials of the "dish of the day" from its insemination to cremation Perhaps inevitably, the menu seems to try a bit too hard to live up to the palpable sense...

Lovely venue and atmosphere, polite friendly staff made the night special. The food was very good , fillet mignon a delight, lamb dish was perfectly cooked and flavours were very rich. Finished with a sharing platter of all 5 desserts on offer, all highly recommended. Shame this is 2 hours from home 😴 thanks for a lovely evening

Warm welcome ,good service and food, what could be better when touring in this area . Not requiring a full lunch menu, our choice of "light bites" were well above average in presentation and quality. On our wish list for a return visit on a "sunny "day in the Summer .

We have stayed here many times over the last eight years and it seems to go from strength to strength! We usually stay in the Square Room, which is a very spacious room with fantastic bathroom. The room overlooks the front of the hotel which is situated right on the main street and is perfect for people and dog watching!...

Grassington Hotel is a lovely hotel. The welcome is warm and the service continues to be excellent throughout the stay. Styaed in room 8, which is a smallish room, but has absolutely everything you need, including a great shower and a good view. The bar area has good local beers and a nice buzz. The food is very good, with...

We stayed at the Grassington House Hotel for a fabulous night on 25th, a Burns night extravaganza with friends. Arrived early evening to a super warm welcome and shown to lovely rooms with everything the discerning traveller could wish for (including home made cookies to die for! Needless to say they didn't last long!!!). Made ourselves completely at home and...
