We have just had a 3-day walking break in the Dales and stayed at Grove House with our teenage son. Phil and Elaine were great hosts, incredibly friendly and helpful and certainly went the extra mile for us in terms of improving our stay. Grove House is well located, being at the top of Main Street. Most of the shops,... More

We stayed here for a break doing something different (walking). We arrived about midday but couldn't check in until 4pm which was fine as we were waiting for friends who had yet to arrive and we wanted lunch. So we parked the car up at the top of the (cobbled) street outside Grove House . We had lunch when our... More

Very good hosts but the house is in need of a face lift. The room was cosy and clean and warm though rather dated.Did not like ordering breakfast the day before and although breakfast was ok it was not outstanding .The location and parking are exellent .

Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback to us. We are disappointed some aspects of your stay were not the standard you expected. We were sorry to note that you felt the house was in need of a face lift. We have an annual programme of decoration in January/February and the week before your visit, had just... More

This BB is really lovely - a great location in Grassington - quiete, yet central, and having only two bedrooms for guests makes it feel that much more personal and special - our room was really big and the four poster bed lovely - having the bathroom across the floor as part of this room really didn't bother us at... Thanks Phil and Elaine we really enjoyed our short stay here on Dickensian weekend. Parking right out side the door, location superb. The B and B is very clean, cosy and was nice and warm. We had a great breakfast and could come and go as we pleased. Thanks

We had a lovely few days at Grove House, Grassington. The house is beautifully decorated in a nice corner of the village. The decor and furnishings complement the property and Phil's paintings add that extra touch. The house is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious. Phil and Elaine are wonderful friendly hosts and made us very welcome and made the... More

Our second stay in the red room, once again we were not disappointed. The room is big enough even for us with an active 6 year old and a giant 16 year old in tow! The bathroom is across the landing but see this as a bonus as it is so spacious and homely. Grove house offers a comfortable, central... More

Phil Showed us to our room and were were a little taken aback because it was so spacious, had a four poster bed, a rocking chair, table etc and seemed almost like a little apartment . Many b & b rooms are pretty small so this was a welcome surprise, the room was very comfortable. Our private bathroom was across the... More

“Both rooms are the same price, larger four poster with bathroom next door on landing, or slightly smaller room, with ensuite bathroom.. If we went again I would choose the ensuite only due to the gap at the top of the four poster room door.”
