The closest holiday park to St Michael's Mount. The Five star Mounts Bay Caravan Park provides superb self catering accommodation within the small historic town of Marazion, home of the iconic St Michael's Mount. Marazion has a good selection of pubs, cafe's & galleries and is a great base for families and couples wishing to explore this beautiful part of west Cornwall. This quiet family run park consists of Just 18 static caravans, heated outdoor swimming pool and is a short walk away from a RSPB nature reserve and the beach. Being close to the "Cornish way" cycle route and the south west coastal path the park is also popular with cyclists and walkers. Peaceful, coastal caravan park in Marazion, Cornwall.

This is a beautifully kept site, lovely cornish/ tropical garden, and small with only 17 caravans. The quiet was lovely, all we could hear at night was the sea and the wind in the trees. We were in the Ashdale number 16 which was very spacious and comfortable with lots of storage, comfortable seating, and a spacious shower. Fully equipped kitchen with a gas oven to cook on and a full size fridge freezer.

Great location, very near Marazion beach which is good for swimming, and you can warm up afterwards with a swim in the heated pool at the site! Also its a lovely spot for watching the sunset with lovely views of the mount.

We walked some of the south west coast path from our door - I would really recommend the walk from here to Praa Sands via Perranuthnoe and Prussia Cove, its six miles so a good hike, but a beautiful mornings walk with a lot of chances to swim on the way.

Lucy and Aiden who run the site live on site and are lovely hosts with loads of local knowledge. Overall highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

We have been coming to Mounts Bay Caravan Park every year for at least 10 years now, highly recommend. The site and caravans are spotless and owners are very friendly and helpful. Great location, flat short walk to the nearest bus stop, beach, local shops and pubs. The site is ideal for couples and small families wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again for the next 10 years.

Mounts Bay Caravan Park is my favourite place to stay in Cornwall. I first stayed here in 1987 and for the following 5 summers and finally returned with my family in June 2023. It was exactly as I remembered it. The Caravan was pristine. The Swimming pool was warm and cleaned daily. There is a hut which provides leaflets, books, games and beach activities for the children which was amazing and very much loved by my 10 year old! The beach is literally a minute walk away and Marazion shops themselves less than a five minute walk. You also have the use of a free car park whilst you stay here. The location is superb and Penzance is only a five minute drive away with a number of large supermarkets within a few minutes drive away. Aidan and Lucy are wonderful hosts and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We will 100% be returning in the future. 5***** Caravan park.

We visited Mount's Bay Caravan Park for a family holiday, and thought it was a fantastic park. Its small with just 18 caravans, but that quietness is what we wanted, and it still had a magnificent heated outdoor pool. The grounds are kept perfectly, and the caravan we had was modern and very well equipped. Even better though, was how clean it was - it really was spotless, and we couldn't have asked for more. Its in a great location about 2 mins walk to Marazion beach, and about 5-6 min walk into the main town of Marazion. Its a very friendly site and Aiden and Lucy do a great job with the park - and are also very friendly park owners.

Mounts Bay Caravan Park is by far the best holiday park we have ever stayed at. All accommodation and the site is spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The owners are lovely personable people that make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
The park is quiet and has a fabulous outdoor pool, it is a great sun trap!
The site is perfectly located to walk into the beautiful Marazion and all it has to offer with shops, galleries, cafe's, pubs etc. There are fantastic walks nearby and the magnificent St Michaels Mount. It's also a great place to try your hand at kayaking or paddle boarding.
It is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall with plenty of beautiful beaches a short drive away. Or there is also an open top bus to take you to nearby towns.
We have stayed here several times and couldn't think of anywhere we'd like to spend our Cornish break more, we just love it!

This was our second visit to Mounts Bay, and once again we found a lovely clean caravan on a quiet and peaceful park - just what we needed for a restful week. The park is family-run and we found them all very helpful when required. The location is handy for St Michaels Mount and the village of Marazion and the three mile walk to Penzance is along a very flat paved path. The swimming pool is a nice extra. Delighted with our stay and have already booked for next year.

My wife and I have just returned from a perfect stay at Mounts Bay caravan site. This is our second visit to this well set out and very professionally run business . Aiden and Lucy have worked hard to provide a very high standard of accommodation and essential amenities such as private car park, picnic benches at each caravan, swimming pool and on site laundry. The small number of vans mean that there is no crowding, basically 2 by 2 up the sloping site giving all guests a great view of the bay.
The caravans and the whole site are cared for lovingly by Aiden and Lucy so I can categorically say that we Highly Recommend this site to both couples and family’s. Thanks again both.

Mount's Bay is a lovely place to stay. Elliott and Amy are very welcoming, and the effort they have made to make everyone feel as safe as possible due to covid is seriously impressive. Everything is spotless and there are systems in place for things like the pool, so you still get to enjoy them whilst feeling safe.
The caravans are very nice, well equipped and again very very clean. The best thing though is the location. Short walk to Marazion beach, west coast 10 minutes drive to glorious beaches of Hayle and Carbis bay, and St Ives. Or short drive along South coast to Praa Sands and all the other beaches and coves. Slightly further afield there is lands end and lizard all within 30 minutes driving.
Thanks for a lovely holiday!

In these strange Covid dictated times it somewhat reassuring to know you will be going somewhere you feel "safe". Having been several times before we knew what to expect from the site on a day to day basis, but was unsure to how this would be affected by current circumstances.
Pre arrival communucation was clear and concise and made clear what had been put in place to ensure everyones safety.
The Caravans (always spotless like the rest of the site) had been deep cleaned and fogged, sanitiser and extra cleaning materials were left in the vans. Sanitiser available in several locations on the site. A booking system was in place for the pool and seemed to work well. The Caravans are well equipped with everything you could want.
Aside from all this, the welcome from Elliot and Amy is wonderfully warm, you eally do feel like returning friends whether visit 1 or 11! The 2 weeks were challenging with hospital visits, floods, 2 storms, power cuts, wind , rain, sun, you name it we had it all. But none of that detracts from the great time had. If you've not been, you really should go, a graet base for touring the whole of the west of Cornwall, short drives to Lands End, The Minack, St Ives, Falmouth to name but a few. Tintagel Castle 90 mins away, Eden project slightly less. Marazion itself is a 10 minute stroll away, Penzance less than 5 minutes drive.
All in all, another great stay, roll on next year!

In times of adversity we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. As well as the excitement of being on holiday, we felt peace of mind with the amount of effort that Amy & Elliott had gone to to ensure that the site & accommodation was up to the highest standards of cleanliness & clear instructions of new procedures due to Covid-19. They are both fantastic hosts & always on hand if you require anything or info. Mounts Bay is a true little gem and a brilliant place for families to enjoy a perfect holiday. Definitely will be returning!! .. (ps .. we will be back for the kids sling shot ball in 2021!)

Yes trains go to Penzance and it is a VERY short taxi ride to the site. There is a regular bus service into Penzance and St Ives. One of my favourite places on the planet .
Answer from Aidan S

Hi Siobhan, thank you for your previous booking and query's. I know we have awnsered these already by email but will post on here too, sorry for the delay, we are very new to trip advisor! The cost to hire bed linen is ÂŁ10 per bed although duvets, pillows and blankets are provided. A deposit of ÂŁ50 is required to secure a booking and the balance should be settled anytime up to 8 weeks prior to arrival. Check in is from 4pm on arrival day, please feel free to use our carpark if you arrive any earlier, the beach is just across the road from there and the centre of Marazion is just a 5-10 minute flat stroll. On departure day we do expect guests to vacate their caravans by 10am, this is so that we can have caravans cleaned and ready to the high standards our guests expect, in time for check in time. With regards to the pool heating, as is our continued progressive investment in Mounts Bay, we are looking into replacing the current system with a new eco friendly solar powered pool heating system, which hopefully will be in place for 2015. Hope this helps!
