Stayed here with some friends on Friday night. The hotel was quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. It was just what we needed before a big day on the mountain. We will definitely return. Thanks

We have been using the Etoile de Neige since 2004 and will continue to do so for many years (I hope !) It's an easy going, warm and friendly hotel run by Loredana and Luigi who will bend over backwards to make your stay one to remember.

As a family of 4 we stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is warm and inviting, the staff make you feel very welcome. Dinner was great every night, traditional Italian a far step away from ' pasta or pizza '. The restaurant manager was fabulous Rooms are clean and well serviced. Maybe a bit small with just enough storage,... More

I stayed here with a bunch of friends for a ski weekend. The hotel itself is OK, but very tired and the experience suffers greatly from the very grumpy receptionist who works each evening. He is very unhelpful and always complains at you for not doing something. The hotel offers free WiFi but dial-up speeds used to be quicker! Valtournenche... More

This is my 2nd visit to this lovely family run hotel. The owners are really lovely and can't do enough for you. If was our daughters birthday and Luigi the owner/chef made the most delicious chocolate cake for her. New Year's Eve was a family affair and they put on a special meal. All staff are really friendly and helpful.... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is cosy, comfortable and with character - exactly the kind one expects in the Alps! The owner is just lovely! Nothing too much trouble for her and will go out of her way to assist you with anything you might want. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The only reason for not... More

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend when skiing 2 days in Zermatt/Cervinia. We came from Zermatt, skied over, stayed the night. In our search we looked for something basic, not too expensive but comfortable, quiet and all amenities as we couldn't carry stuff with us. This hotel answered all our conditions - we walked 5 min from the... More

As a birthday present for my girlfriend (who became my fiancé on our way down the Alps back to Milan) I booked a long weekend in Cervinia as neither of us had skied in Europe before and found Hotel Etoile De Neige via TripAdvisor and I couldn't be happier that we did. Everything that could go wrong on this trip - did. Car broke down, the weather was crappy during the entire stay. As for the hotel itself, it's pretty much what you can expect from a two star hotel but there is more to it. The room was just about the right size-not too small, not too big. When we just... More

“Pretty town. A drive further up the mountain will give you a great view of the Matterhorn (weather permitting). Choose a room opposite the water falls.”
