My wife and 2 of my daugthers stayed at Mimis on 6-16 August. The place is definately a small paradise. There are so many things that make Mimis such a outstanding vacation location but some of the ones we liked were: the area is very secluded and peaceful (we had the place to ourselves), the apartment was clean, roomy and...

What a great place. Perfect location off the beaten path, none of the madding crowd, etc. David and Mark are gracious hosts. They have got it down. House was great, rooms great, location great. Can't think of a single thing we didn't love.

My husband, 16 month old son and I had a wonderful time at Mimi's. The out of the way location was ideal for experiencing the true natural beauty of Puerto Rico. Our hosts were very friendly and accomodating, especially David, who actually walked us the twenty minutes it takes to get to the secluded beach spot to ensure that we...

I spent two nights here with m y 11 year old son, and after four nights in Puerto Rico this places was like the Oasis in the desert. In some ways Mimis is like a modern day Hemmingway retreat. Coconut trees, vegetation of so many varieties (a plant lovers dream), private beach and sincerely nice hosts make for a great...

My husband and I had a wonderful short stay at Mimi's and really appreciated David and Mark's hospitality. On our way from Ponce we were looking for a place to eat and got a great recommendation for Pita's restaurant. My husband (optimistically) said that we would arrive around 7:30 after dinner and stopping at a grocery store. At 8:00 when...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights in mid-March and had a great stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and decorated in a funky, fun way, and the beach nearby was breathtaking. The location is a bit isolated, but that's exactly what we were looking for.

A friend and I just came back from a week's tour of most of Puerto Rico. The trip was more ambitious than I thought it would be. I thought we would travel most of the perimeter, but there is so much more to see in Puerto Rico than I knew was there. Even though the island is only 100 miles...

Our family of adults and teenagers at 5 different locations during your 15-day vacation and Mimi’s stands out as the most special and most gracious. Our hosts felt like old friends after the first few hours. We were made to feel like family. No gouging or nickel-n-diming here: unlimited fluffy towels, laundry facilities free to use, courtesy coconuts complete with...

We were looking for something off the beaten path for our first time in Puerto Rico when we came across Mimi's. From the beginning, our hosts were very accommodating and helpful in directing us to some of the most beautiful and secluded spots in the local area. On our first day, our host Dave took us on a hike through...

As the designated trip planner for our one day off during a business trip to San Juan, I had struggled to find a reasonable and nice place to stay in Guanica - until I found Mimi's! So many of the TripAdvisor reviews for the paradors had been mixed or negative, but every Mimi's review was a 5-star, thumbs up, and...
