Out of the way location. Good comfortable room. Wholesome food. Good base for a walking break being close to both Stiperstones and the long Mynd. I would imagine the rooms to get noisy at the weekend as our room was directly above the bar area. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful.

Lovely old traditional pub downstairs, with great outside seating. Rooms upstairs clean and modern. Really enjoyed our stay, breakfasts and evening meals all tasty. Plenty of great walks locally and not far from The Long Mynd, the pub is set in glorious countryside in a little Shropshire village. There is one small shop at the bottom of the village for essentials.

Loved the steak, Brie and onion crate, love the crate it’s served in, the steak and ale pie (I had it with mash 😋) was fantastic, as for the desserts, heavenly, we all left with full tummies, staff are so helpful, a beautiful country pub, the new management are so warm and welcoming, great to see this little treasure open again, we will definitely be back 😄

Super friendly, great home cooked food and a cracking location - highly recommended to escape from the hussle and bustle.
Perfect for exploring the lovely local towns and villages and taking to the hills for beautiful scenery.

Dinner, bed and breakfast the Crown hit all the right marks. Dinner, huge menu plus a couple of specials all cooked to order and all was delicious. Bed, room clean and comfortable good choice of teas and coffee on the beverage tray. Decent shower. Breakfast, good fresh ingredients and very well cooked. Staff happy efficient and helpful. Well done one and all.

I spent two nights at the Crown Inn as I was working in the area. After a long drive on the Friday and a loooooong day at work in the Saturday, I couldn't have hoped for somewhere nicer to return to. The Crown is a lovely traditional village pub and my room was lovely and spotlessly clearn. But what really makes the Inn such a great place to say is the wonderful welcome you get from Andy and Vanessa. They really make you feel at home and can't do enough for you. They have created the perfect country home from home and Nessa makes a mean breakfast to boot!
