I was there for a family event. I cannot say how well the event was organised by the hotel. Food served and the table service was excellent. The room was very big with a large/king size bed, no complaints there. As for the breakfast, eggs to order and freshly made. Over all this is a very good hotel with friendly...

My partner and I visited the Bistro before and had a lovely meal. We decided to go back on Sunday 12th Feb for an early Valentines meal and both left feeling very disappointed! We sat down and at least 6 members of staff walked by us, one actually cleaned a table next to us before anyone acknowledged we were there...

The Whistledown is located on the shores of Carlingford Lough with lovely sea and mountain views. We attended a wedding here and stayed one night before Christmas. The venue and accommodation were very good, food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend as a wedding venue.

My friend and I decided to have a night out over Christmas and opted for The Whistledown. The place was buzzing with a wedding and the various parties upstairs in the restaurant. We were greeted and shown to out table with no hanging about. The drinks order was taken and delivered while we looked at the menu. The staff here...

I've been going to the Whistledown Hotel for many years and had wonderful eating experiences there but the last two lunch visits have not been to the standard I know they can deliver! Both times I've ordered the pepper burger which is served with chips! The burger on both occasions has been tough/rubbery and the bap was stale and the...

Having been to your restaurant on 23rd December with my husband and really enjoying our meal we decided to return for our family new year tea. Mistake! We were really disappointed. Having got a seat on arrival which was good as it was really busy we asked a member of staff to clean our table, it hadn't been wiped down....

We attended a wedding day here in late December and I have to say we thought it was great. Such a pretty location, beautiful wintery decor, the day seemed well managed bar calling the wrong person to give a speech. It was way too warm but that is all I can fault. The food for the meal was absolutely fabulous....
