Fairly standard hotel. The hotel offers many different room options varying from ultra-cheap to significantly more expensive. I'm not certain what type of room we had, but it was very small, smokey and nothing to write home about. Next time I would upgrade the room and ask for non-smoking. Bathroom is like a plastic pod in the corner - if...

It can be said that this hotel is one of the best in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The hotel has good location. There is very friendly staff, who speak english. Conference rooms are comfortable. Food is delicious especially bread. rooms are comfortable, but bathrooms are too small and unusual.

I will start by saying this is one of the best hotels in Oskemen, I have stayed here many many times. But with that sayed, many things are not ok in this hotel. Most bathrooms in the rooms are all plastic, showers are very hard to get a nice temperature (either freezing cold or burning hot) wifi is free but...

This hotel has good conference room and restaurant facilities, although it is much cheaper to eat elsewhere in the city. The rooms are OK, en suite and free WiFi. The receptionists speak good English and are very helpful.

I stayed in this hotel many times. But it is becoming more worse. They have rooms, 507 for example, where the windows in winter are screwed looked- no chance to open them! Also, there is never a 2nd roll of toilet paper in your room. You always have to go to find that little car of the cleaning personnel and...

I recently stayed here on a business trip and it seems that most westerners stay here. I've been told it is the best option in town. The rooms are pretty well appointed, if not a little oddly shaped in some cases. Strangest of all is the bathrooms. They feel as if they should be on a submarine or in a...

Stayed for two nights on a business trip to Oskemen. The hotel seems rather old fashioned inside and in need of updating although their website says it was opened in 2006. The whole place has a much older feel; life doors close slowly and they look and operate very unlike 2006 versions would. Having said that, it is a pleasant...

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. After a rather poor hotel experience in Almaty, I was expecting things to get a lot worse as I moved eastwards and into smaller towns but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, check-in is friendly, and everything works. The reception staff speak more English than anywhere else I found...

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights during my travel in Oskemen. The building is very nice, elegant and clean. Staff of reception can speak a good English and is kind, especially if you consider that this city usually hosts few foreigners. I booked a Standard Economic room and I was satisfied: 12,000 tenge per night (about 60 €)...

After a disillusioning stay at the Ust Kamenogorsk Hotel, where we thought we could save money compared to Shiny River, we finally changed our minds and checked in at the hotel that everybody recommends to foreigners. It is by FAR the better option compared to the other hotel we stayed at, and probably also compared to any other hotel in...
