Friendly place with good facilities and quiet. Liz the owner is helpful and kind. Would def recommend as a stop over if travelling via Lewis pass. Reasonably priced, but only 3 units so book early. There is a cafe/fuel stop 3 k's away and the springs are 10 mins drive away.

Very friendly owner , we arrived quite late and were made to feel so welcome . This time was just a stopover, but we will certainly be back for a longer stay . It was very quiet and extremely clean . There are plenty of walks to do in this area , and the view from the decking was lovely.

Phoned Lewis Pass motels from Christchurch on Friday afternoon and asked owner if there was any vacancy that night as we were driving up to Nelson for a short break away. Sure enough, one unit left. The friendly lady said she would be around once we arrived around 10pm. Arrived as planned around 10pm. Lovely owner and her dog Bill...

I stayed here for a night, though I really wanted to stay for the long weekend; but that's my tardy planning, which was regretful after staying one night and feeling very comfortable and at home. The unit was perfect-well equipped, clean and cosy. All furnishings and décor up to date. The unit was more like a 3/4 star hotel than...

Booked here because I did not want to drive from Motueka to Christchurch all in one day. The reviews looked good so it seemed a good choice. And the reviews were right. The owner was so friendly and helpful, the room was cosy and warm (i arrived on a very cold day) the bed was SUPER comfortable and the room...

What an amazing place, met by such a lovely lady and her dogs. Just three units all large and with a full kitchen, and a laundry available. Spotless and so comfortable. The view from the veranda is amazing, you look across the farmland toward the mountains; watch young cattle chasing after the farmer to new pasture and fawns in the...

Very quiet, perfect place to relax. The owner was very welcoming, room clean and comfortable. We left our camera behind and the owner contacted us and posted it to us. A very good place to stay to break a long journey.

I stayed overnight - I was warmly greeted when I arrived. The room was perfect and I couldn't believe the view of open fields and cows with a mountain backdrop from the room and the patio. When I walked down the driveway I could smell the sweet hay and imagine my surprise when the cows all came close to the...
