I booked this special trip from my 40th birthday. The location is amazing in the forrest with the animals and the snow, very beautiful and relaxing. Aggie and Paul were very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home. The breakfast was so delicious and I loved my room. I tried the sauna and hot tub as well which is a bonus in this beautiful environment. I had such a nice time that I decided to extend my stay with a night. I was lucky enough to see Aurora even though it was end of season. Thank you very much. Definitely returning in future.

Staying in Foxfires Boutique Hotel was like living in a fairytale. Everything was perfect.- a cozy room with a beautiful view of snowy forest, carefully selected amenities(amazing bed!!), delicious homemade breakfast, and a magical Finnish spa experience. Aggie, Paul, and Gooseberry🐶 were always During the stay, we weren't lucky enough to see the northern light which was our first purpose of visiting Finnland. However it didn't really a matter to us. Ski slope is just 3min drive away, and Levi city centre was 10min drive, too. We did lots of activities and had such a wonderful time!! Thank you so so much for a beautiful stay😊

Had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a beautiful location and close to all the nice places. The rooms are beautifully designed and the owners are incredibly friendly and you get spoiled ☺️ The Spa is absolutely unique and a fairytale like dream place!

Beautiful property with exquisite attention to detail. Top class pillows and linens, bed felt so luxurious. Breakfast in the main house was a delight, both the food itself and the company. (Note main house not available after breakfast which we appreciated was said up front) Loved the snowshoes we were able to borrow to go for the first time. Also the spa experience was incredible, biggest window I’ve ever seen in a sauna to see natures beauty, then sitting in the hot tub under the northern lights. Wow! Next time I plan to book a sound bath as well.

Our stay exceeded all our expectations! It is a beautiful small hotel, every detail is right. Paul, Aggie and Goosberry are the sweetest, friendly and very welcoming. Their breakfast is really fantastic, even when we left very early we got a delicious breakfast to take with us. It is definitely a must to go to this great hotel. Foxfires wil make your dreams come true! Its the beste short vacation we ever had!!

No words to describe how amazing is Levifoxfires!! Beds, breakfast, view, decoration, sauna… everything has been perfect. All of that would not have been the same without Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry who are from far the best hosts we’ve ever met and can provide you with the best advice to discover Levi. The whole scenery is outta fairytale. Large glass windows, incredible interior, the owners who cooked us fresh breakfast every morning, the squirrels running around and then the Arctic spa experience which is unlike anything else and absolute must-do if in FINLAND!

Where do we even begin? We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year and had wanted to do something truly unique and memorable. After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and doing much research comparing it to other places, we decided to stay at Foxfires. It exceeded our expectations as photos don’t do this place justice. Aggie, Paul and Gooseberry were amazing and so welcoming. We were greeted with smiles and so much warmth that we felt immediately like they were our friends. Check-in is at 16:00 however, the night before, they didn’t have guests in our room so we were able to check-in a couple of hours earlier to get our skis and lift passes organised for the next day. They were so understanding as we had traveled 30 hours to get there (we are from Melbourne, Australia). We stayed in the Polar Bear room. One could tell that the owners had taken a lot of pride and careful consideration when building this place. From the bed, one could enjoy the forest view through the large glass window…winter wonderland! The bed was extremely comfortable. The room and bathroom temperatures could be adjusted to your own comfort. The mini bar fridge was stocked with soft drinks and there were tea and coffee pods with a coffee machine in the room. The bathroom products smelled divine. There was a hairdryer too. We booked the Arctic Sauna experience on the second night at 19:00. The path from our room to the Sauna cottage was lit by lights and upon reaching the Sauna, I squealed with delight and utter amazement at how pretty the setup was. The fairy lights and lanterns all lit up around the place made it look magical. We will describe the Sauna and Spa experience more in another review. We used the Kota (hut) during the booked session to warm up, cooked sausages for dinner and relax with some wine. It was truly memorable. Breakfast was included in our 3-night package. Food was plentiful. One must try the ricotta oatmeal hotcakes which was yummy and healthy. There were eggs (whichever way you like), breads, homemade cereals, smoked salmon, cheeses, hams, fresh fruits, yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange juices, artisan coffee and gourmet tea selections, and baked goods. One of our favourites was the Forest Tiramisu with berries.. yum! We were very well-fed every morning, ready to hit the slopes! Foxfires is situated within walking distance to the South East Slope however it was not opened yet when we were there. It usually opens mid Feb. They have a dog, Gooseberry, and he’s very friendly, good-natured, intelligent and always very excited to see us in the mornings at breakfast. We were very sad when we had to leave but we will believe that one day, we will return to this magical place in the forest. Had THE MOST fantastic stay at Foxfires and would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Levi / Lapland. Hosts could not have been more kind, friendly and accommodating (SO much nicer than staying in a hotel where you're just "room 101"!! The hosts at Foxfires actually take the time to make conversation and get to know you). They were so helpful in offering recommendations on where to eat, walk and activities to busy ourselves with too. The accommodation itself was everything you see in photos and more. Really well kept, comfortable and everything to a high standard.
