Lovely spacious warm accommodation, first class cooked breakfast, all local produce, ideal location for Hartington village, walking, cycling or just visiting one of the two pubs (both within 2 minutes walking distance). Thanks to Jane (the owner) who couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect, and for all the little extras in the room too. Our first visit but...

Nice comfortable bed, breakfast was ok, the only problem was there was no windows open where Jane was cooking the breakfast and it was quite smoky but overall for the money it was fine for a stopover.

I found the hayloft to be quite a charming place to stay which is set within a rural working farm , Jane the manager cooked a hearty breakfast which was ample for the busy day ahead of exploring the peak district.

We have now stayed with Jane Bassett several times and she always makes us feel very welcome and provides us with a splendid breakfast that sets us up for the day. We like the ground floor twin room very much. The location, right in the heart of Hartington, could not be better. It is just 2 minutes walk to the...

I booked a 3 night stay having read the reviews from other visitors. Having just returned I feel I should now add my comments too. We thoroughly enjoy our stay. At clearly a busy time of year, with it being the lambing season, Jane was a wonderful host, and made us very welcome. We were shown to a lovely ground...

What a little gem we found here in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. Jane made us feel so welcome and showed us to a beautiful loft bedroom with en-suite. Breakfast was just delicious and the fresh fruit was yummy as was the locally sourced cooked breakfast. Jane shared her knowledge of the area and we would go back there...
