Worst experience ever I've had at caravan park, the manager was dreadfully rude and not very helpful at all, no outside lighting at the caravans, not a lot of car parking spaces and found a empty space and went out for the day the following day, the space was blocked off when I got back and no where to park at reception when I got back so had to ask another couple if I could outside there van which they said I could. Terrible park never going back again. On arrival got told to pay £100 deposit for a key which we didn't know anything about until we asked for the key, the manager said "no deposit no key like it or lump it"

Heading home from an excellent stay at Tan Rallt Holiday Park. From waking into reception on arrival to checking out, it’s been a lovely stay. We were made to feel really welcome on arrival. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The park is kept immaculately clean and gardens etc well kept. Our caravan was immaculate (128) with gorgeous views. All the little extras in there to welcome us. Beds made up on arrival and plenty of towels provided. We had an issue with the WiFi but we contacted reception and someone came to the van within minutes to help sort it. There was a small play area for the kids and lots of walks in the area. The Spa area looked lovely but can’t comment as we didn’t use it. The park is very quiet and you need a car to get about, but it does state that so we knew what to expect. There’s plenty to do in the area all within a short driving distance. The Great Orme is a must, we drove up the toll road and parked up the top. We then did lots of walking around the top, we went to the mines which was a great experience and there’s a play area for the kids. We visited Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Conwy. Conwy was lovely, you can walk round the castle walls for Free, plenty of shops and places to eat and kids can do crabbing at the Marina. Overall we’ve had an excellent time and really enjoyed our stay at the Tan Rally Holiday Park. Thank you. I’d definitely recommend.

We have just visited for the bank holiday weekend - me, my partner and our 8 month old, our dog and my mum. We arrived to a pretty cramped and dated looking site but remained optimistic - also great views from the site. We had caravan 124; it was really small and not suitable for any more than a couple - having a travelcot up was a nightmare. The carpet hadn’t been properly cleaned, there were tea stains on the kitchen surface and dog hair from the previous people on the sofas, and some of the cutlery needed rewashing, it wasn’t horrendous but it did generally need a good clean as it just dated the place. The caravans are pretty cramped and once the car was parked there was little outdoor space, the outdoor furniture was also really tatty. Our caravan was right next the the entrance toad so really loud when cars went past - not ideal when you’ve got an 8 month old! Beds were also unbelievably uncomfortable, possibly the worst bed I’ve ever stayed in… the gas grill didn’t work so only had one oven and the cooking equipment was incredibly limited, you’d struggle to stag longer than a week in here self catering. No wifi as the website states either. Bank holiday adds a premium but for the amount this place cost, it was a rip off for such a disappointingly uncomfortable trip that definitely doesn’t look or offer anything like the website and promotional photos suggest - really gutted and feel like we’ve been scammed out of hard earned money.

Stayed in caravan 105, a nearly new caravan. Everything was immaculate on arrival and staff very helpful and informative. (lots of changes, i grew up on this site, parents had a caravan here for 30 years) no longer are there big green spaces for children to play, caravans much closer, the shop had gone which I really missed for getting essentials without having to go into town. The view was still fantastic, however you needed to be at the top of the site to really appreciate it now the vans are so close. A lovely place for a quiet break, would return just myself and husband, not really a place anymore for the grandchildren. If anything could be improved i think recycling banks should be in place for cans/bottles ect. Overall a lovely week spent onsite.

I cannot praise the staff at this site enough. My husband suffered a medical episode, their help, kindness and support truly went above and beyond. All was well and we managed to enjoy a lovely week in a beautiful setting. Lovely beaches a short drive away, stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Five stars from us and I hope the team get the recognition they deserve.

I arrived at the site with a car full of food from the supermarket as it was “self catering” as I was told when I asked for an extra towel and was greeted to an oven with no gas, as the job would not light. I have my 8 year old son with me who is bored very easily and a TV that did not stay on. I informed the receptionist of this who sent a lady to come and look at it the next morning. The tv was back up and running for all of 2 hours. We then had a man arrive to fix the oven who insured us they would have it looked at after two nights stay (baring in mind we are only staying for 4 nights). The excuse was we are in a valley and the trees are over growing the mast. Not acceptable. My son had no tv for two nights and we ha so a fridge full of food that we could not cook and had to go out and eat out for the full length of stay. The dates went off on our food the Thursday £150 worth of food. We called hoeseasons when this issue was not resolved and they politely asked me to stay the second night and would contact me first thing as they closed at 6 and help. We got up and no phone call from hoeseasons. This was like hell. We could not stay any longer and be out of pocket any more eating out lunch and tea. The spa was not in service which was one of the only reasons we booked this park which I was so unhappy about and my little boy was severely restless with no TV. I was not willing to stay a second longer and wait for this issue to be resolved when half of my holiday was ruined! I wish this to be looked in to and be reimbursed for the nights I did not have here. I can not believe what we have gone through. The lodge also stated that it sleeps 6. No way could 6 people stay in this it barely slept 3 i slept on the wooden couch that did not part to go in to a bed and my boy and cousin slept in the small bed as the other room could not bare to sleep in with the weather conditions.

On arrival the site looked idyllic. The location and scenery is beautiful. Check in at reception was simple. We haven't stayed in a caravan before and perhaps regular users accept the limitations of space? I think that apart from the one double bed the twins are only suitable for small children. You should be able to join them if needed. Sleeping was very good with no disturbance. Central heating and fire place made it nice and snug . Also had facilities for cooking and fridge microwave etc The receptionist Sam was very lovely and made sure we had everything we needed and looked after me and my daughter who is autistic very well made the stay a lot better Thankyou Sam

My husband and I decided to try a static caravan holiday instead of our usual tent. The site is lovely well kept and very quiet. I think for us young 60 Yr old it was abit too quiet and long way off the beaten track for us. The caravan was immaculate the one down side 118 doesn't have a curtain at the bathroom window so I had to wait for the gardener to pass before I could leave the shower cubicle. I also think the numbering of the plot should be more obvious placing it on the shed at the back is no good. Might I finally suggest the wooden patio furniture be varnished so bird poo can be wiped off without leaving too wet of a seat. There should be a drop off box for keys we had to wait for an hour for reception to open so we could leave key, so much for an early start.
