My son and I stayed for one night. The hotel was very clean and well-presented. The staff were friendly and attentive. Had a treatment in the Spa, which was very relaxing. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. A great night’s sleep, and a beautifully cooked breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Very disappointing stay. It started on check in. Receptionist didn't even say Hello. Just looked at us. Room was supposed to have a 4 poster bed but it didn't, the bottom 2 had been taken off. Phone didn't work. Shower issues. Although there was 2 shower heads a larger and smaller one , only small one worked. Breakfast was £14.95 and was awful. Our friends had more items then we were given, had half slice of black pudding which was like a brick along with hard fried bread. On check out, we had already paid, there were 2 on reception, one I presume was duty manager and again no one spoke to us. Unbelievable

Go to the Spa, avoid the hotel. Spa facilities are terrific and the afternoon we spent there was one of the best since a long time. Swimming pool, sauna and hamam are great. We had a back, neck and shoulders massage done by real professionals. Spa is definitely 5 starts Hotel is unfortunately not as good. Positive points are the size of the room (room 111 for us) and the high quality of the bathroom. The beds are correct (bit soft but this is the personal choice of everyone) and the temperature of the room was good. Bad points: some food from previous guests were still in the fridge and most of all, the service was awful! My wife waited 45min to receive her breakfast, receptionist looked bored when we asked questions. Staff looks lost and attention to details is a real problem. Hotel is 2 stars not more

Loved it here, have been before but not to stay over night. Enjoyed a fabulous spa break. The staff were lovely, food fantastic, spa facilities fabulous. Room was also very nice. I certainly hope to return soon and think it will be a lovely place to visit in the warmer months to make the most of the lovely grounds.

I booked a spa package for myself and my girlfriend. We got a nights stay, £50 towards evening meal, full body massage, breakfast, afternoon tea and access to the spa facilities included. Really nice place, thoroughly enjoyed and thought the package was good value for all that was included. Would definitely go back again.
