Stayed overnight following a dinner dance and we were really pleased by every aspect of our visit. The bedroom was modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The dinner was superb and the attention from the staff was excellent. Our breakfast similarly was really good and the attentiveness of the morning staff was impeccable. Would recommend without hesitation,
Fabulous New Years Eve. The ball room was beautifully decorated. The canapés were really delicious. The food was just divine and staff attentive but not over beating. The music covered all genres and the DJ was first class. The atmosphere was good and the. guests were clearly enjoying themselves. Overall a well organised evening that the Kinmel are renowned for. Thank you.
Manny was a lovely and friendly host to me and my family in the night we was there and served be extraordinary cocktails which was out of this world, he also made us feel so welcomed the time we was here it was well and truly welcoming! All the staff was lovely and jo and Egg was so kind hearted. Compliments to all the staff for all their hard work. Our room was as lovely as ever. We had dinner in the restaurant as it was our anniversary and the staff made a lovely chocolate and strawberry board with happy anniversary written in chocolate. What a lovely touch. Amazing spa, fantastic staff the best service ever can’t wait to go back, just love ❤️ This place. ❤️❤️❤️
We booked a spa break… all I can say is wow! All the team were so helpful and professional! The food was outstanding and the massage and spa facilities were out of this world! Excellent selection on breakfast too
My Fiancée and I recently got married here. We have enjoyed our visits to The Kinmel for wedding meetings. Adrian is a great organiser, his staff are very happy, friendly and helpful. Adrian and his staff planned our wedding beautifully and all our family and friends had a really enjoyable time, and commented on what a beautiful venue and beautiful food. The rooms were well equipped and very modern and spacious.
We have just returned from a 4 night break at your The Kinmel Hotel and Spa. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel and spa staff were lovely and accommodating. Got to say though little touches were missing from our stay. We stayed in your Accessible Twin which is shown in the photo below taken directly from your website. When we arrived there was not a runner, cushions or bolster cushion as shown on our beds just standard white bedding. Due to me having mobility issues and struggling to get comfortable anywhere these little touches may have helped. My bed in particular was very uncomfortable and sounded like a babies rattle when I slept on it. On Thursday, a large party arrived and evening meal table was set up down the middle of the restaurant for them. I am a larger lady and asked to be put on a table out of the way as I do not like squashing past people as I find my size embarrassing. I feel that the kitchens did not plan for such a large group as my husband and I had been having cheese and biscuits most nights but on Thursday evening there were no grapes left and we did not get as many crackers as previous nights despite paying the same prices as other nights. Friday morning we went to have our breakfast at the normal time of 9:00 am. We had asked to be put on table 11 as again we did not want to have to squash past a large group. When we got there the morning staff had not read what the evening staff had written and our request was not acknowledged. I sat at table 11 and they had to make up the table for us. Again, I feel the kitchen had not accommodated or planned for a large group as the sausages and bacon were running out. This had never happened the other mornings we arrived for our breakfast. There was always plenty to choose from. I do feel that morning staff in the restaurant need to be checking what is running out rather than having to be asked. A lady from the large group arrived to breakfast late and there was no bacon for her she had to ask for some and was not best pleased. Though when you think about it the large group had eaten most of the breakfast items. I loved the spa but again being a larger lady I cannot sit down on a lounger. There was nowhere for me to relax during swim, sauna and steam room. I usually take a book to read when I relax but I could not do this. I was afraid the sun lounger would collapse if I got on it. I could not bend down to get on it anyway and getting off would be a nightmare. I feel that you need a couple of suitable chairs for people like myself. We loved our stay but for the reasons above we will not be returning to The Kinmel Hotel and Spa.…
Could not use restaurants all booked out for private parties. Found a pub in Abergele the bull fantastic food. Breakfast rude argumentative staff, good at disappearing. No bread ( they had not had a delivery) no bacon about a dozen beans was told to go for breakfast at 9.30 very little there not even a clean plate, weetabix were ok but not the same without milk and clean bowl. Was told we would be reimbursed brekkie cost but don’t believe it. Hospitality tray would be best taking your own and a cup. Abergele close by so you have options if you find yourself booked in here.
