We go back every year for a visit. Ria is a wonderful hostess and an amazing chef! The lodge has an old time character and ambience. The country is scenic and beautiful and great for hiking. Thank you, Ria, for another fabulous 2 days and nights! - Gerry & Annemarie.

I had the pleasure of staying in at the Chilcotin Lodge in late June. Ria pleasantly welcomed me and showed me around the lodge. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was impeccably clean and had big, hot showers. Ria was welcoming and hospitable throughout the stay offering tea and delicious pineappley cakey delights! Breakfast was included in the... If you like your hotel to have an ensuite bathroom, a uniform look and style this place is not for you but you will really miss out. Old style decor from the quilts to the rocking chairs on the porch, like stepping back in time. This is one place not to miss. Every room is different but beautifully presented. Unique... More

After a long day driving on Chilcotin back roads imagining what the first pioneers must have felt like, arriving at the Chilcotin Lodge was a wonderful continuation of that step back into time. The log building has been lovingly and tastefully restored in a "Far West" style including cheerful woodburning stoves in the main rooms which kept us wonderfully warm. The... More

We stopped here on the way in and out of Bella Coola and what a gem to find. Ria was waiting to greet us on both visits and had tasty dinners prepared. The food was very hearty and very nice and most welcome after a long drive. The lounge area was warm and inviting to sit and relax in. The... More

Offering great food and a log fire, a warm welcome awaits at Chilcotin Lodge where an old-world ambience transports you to the days of the pioneers. Bear sighting before breakfast was definitely a bonus. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at the Chilcotin Lodge in September for many years and every time I walk through the door it feels like coming home - especially after I have had one of Ria's home cooked meals, which are always 5 star. If you like the outdoors and a cozy place to relax with a glass of wine at the... More

We recently spent a weekend at this heritage hide-a-way. Located 30 min from Williams Lake, it was the perfect spot to recharge. Our host Ria looked after every minute detail including worldclass meals, packed lunches for our day trip and amenities such as shower supplies. The fireplace was on and the atmosphere was homey and cozy. The lodge is old... More

After having a lovely stay here 10 years ago when the owners were new. It seems they have become somewhat cynical and jaded. The place is still great but the service and attitude was not. I returned with my son this time intent on staying but apparently they were full when we arrived. No problem we had camping gear. We... More

Hello Father and Son, my story is a little different ...when you drove in I was outside and welcome you , you ask for a room, which I could not offer because the Lodge was fully booked as well for dinner.Camping would be the next option, So...I gave you very clear directions were you could go to pitch your tent.... Wonderful place! Stayed here many times and it just keeps getting better. We are observing a bear on the highway just as I write this review. The house is beautiful and so very clean! Ria's cooking is just THE BEST! Thank you for your perfect hospitality, Ria. We'll look forward to seeing you again next year! Annemarie & Gerry Fraser
