Our flight landed in Chang Mai and Pai met us on short notice. The drive was close and smooth. Peter and Pai(the owners of the Secret Garden)were excellent hosts. They met every need, added their good natured vibe and made our stay in Chang Mai very enjoyable. The Secret Garden is about 15 minutes from busy Chang Mai. The town...

Stayed at Secret Garden with my mother and god mother for 5 nights in April 2010. I can only echo what other reviews have said about this place - it feels like home, Peter's and Pai's hospitality is beyond limits, the food is great, the setting so pretty.. Everything is just perfect. I have been to several places in Thailand...

What an amazing warm place. I stayed 6 nights and fell in love with the design of the place, the garden, the bungalows even the the food design at the buffet table! Peter, Pai and Isobel were a lovely family, working very hard to make their guesthouse the best it can be. I had a wonderful chat with Isobel who...

I stayed with my partner at secret garden for 3 nights while travelling around Thailand. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed in total, this was by far the place we have recommended most to friends and family. Peter and Pai add that personal touch you nolonger come to expect and they make every effort to make your stay as...

We just spent 7 days at Secret Garden and were enjoying every minute in the beautiful garden and peaceful villa. Purpose was to relax - which is perfectly possible under the trees and pool within this oasis of nature, and to visit landmarks around but mostly important to play golf (fantastic courses around!) - all this could be done excellent...

We found the Secret Garden to be a welcome change of pace from the busy activity of the Chiang Mai area. The owner's, Peter and Pai, were very helpful and flexible during our stay and their bungalows were very comfortable in a beautiful setting with good value for the money. We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow that was newly...

We stayed at the Secret Garden for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon in March. We were looking for somewhere to completely chill out after the hustle and bustle of bangkok, wedding fever etc. and the Secret Garden certainly didnt disappoint. There were a number of highlights....the very pretty, secluded location; the peace and quiet; the excellent value for...

We are a young family and very much enjoyed the place (which really is a secret garden). Spot with love for details. Bungalows are very spacious with an own terrace and a little kitchen. We recommend joining the optional dinner - the host does cook herself and it is excellent Thai food. Location is not central to Chiang Mai, it...

My wife and I stayed at Secret Garden in April 2010 for just 2 nights after a week long family wedding near Bangkok. It was the perfect getaway after a hectic week, wish we could've stayed longer though, 2 nights just isn't enough. The owners Peter and Pai, are so warm and welcoming, they make you feel like you've come...

Peter, Pai, and Isabel have created a lush oasis in Chiang Mai. The architecture, landscaping, food, and service were out of this world and unlike anyuthing else we have experienced in Thailand. Pai's nightly Thai buffets were well thought out, market fresh and diverse...a really great introduction to Thai cuisine. Peter & Pai bend over backwards to make their guests...
