We hadn't any reservation for that night and we were all day driving we didn't know where to go and they opened their doors for us late at night. Very nice homestay, with lovely views, amazing breakfast and a big room with a comfortable bed. The staff were lovely!!! Terima kasih!!!
It is very beautiful and quiet place . Comfortable climate , not hot . Good walks among farmland and by the lake . Bungalows big and comfortable plus porch with table and chairs . Every day cleaning .On the weak side of this hotel is meager breakfast but skillfully decorated .
The homestay is out in the rural area surrounded by fields of agriculture. Nita has very good English and is very helpful. Other than walking on the roads, there is little to do. It rained a lot so we did not try to rent a motorbike. The view is of greenhouses, fields of crops and the lake. It was a pleasant walk to the main road but the restaurant choices are minimal. Food at the homestay was not great. There are only four rooms. No WiFi but good hot water in bath. Room was basic but fine. Good bed. If you are looking for a quiet retreat this is a good choice.
We stayed for 2 nights near Lake Buyan. Lovely garden and lake views, esp if you have an upstairs room. Very accomodating staff. Simple, basic room but clean and comfortable. Quite a long walk down a main road to get to Beratan lake and the Ulun Danu temple but fine if you have a car or bikes. Lovely restaurant Cafe Teras with mountain views on the main road. Perfect for a quiet couple of days away from busier areas.
Really enjoyed our stay at Dajan Buyan homestay. The location is wonderful. The host was really sweet and invited us to a Hindu wedding! She also made a great Nasi Goreng. The beds are excellent and the shower is hot! Would definitely stay here again anytime!
