Erika was a most delightful host at El Mirador de Pucusana. The rooms are very basic and not for someone looking for a high-end hotel. I enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again. Breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs, bread rolls, juice, and instant coffee. The night we arrived there was a very large festival in town for St....

We spent 3 nights staying at Mirador and loved every second of it. The view is fantastic, the rooms comfortable, the wifi worked well, and most of all the family (who owns Mirador) made the whole trip incredible. I have many long conversations with Erika and loved learning more about Peruvian culture and her own life. This type of attention...

After walking around in Pucusana, looking at a lot of hostels that were either overpriced or rundown we found this marvellous hostel located on a hill. Entering a hostel and feel like home right away doesn't happen often but here!! Although the walk uphill might be a bit tiring for some guests, I can absolutely recommend this place to travellers...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hostel for three wonderful days. We loved the location and the layout. There is a steep climb up some cliff steps to reach the hostel - fine during the day but worth using a torch at night so you don't trip. The views are well worth the climb. The terrace is a beautiful...

It was also nice to meet you. We regret the inconvenience to the kitchen ; it seems there was a misunderstanding . The kitchen is not part of the stay, it is actually only family use . The rooms and common areas have been painted a year ago , but the salty and humid weather deteriorates rapidly all around the...

We loved our relaxing 4 days spent at El Mirador, overlooking Pucusana; it was just what we needed at the end of our busy tour. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, we had hot water showers and the free wifi connection was perfect. The best part, though, was getting to know Erika, her mother, Elizabeth, and her son,...

We loved this place, our room (triple) was very good with shower overlooking the bay; the terrace is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. We had email contact beforehand and received valuable information on how to get to Pucusana etc. All in all a very nice quiet pick for a night or two if you want to get away...

Fabulous hospedaje with a gorgeous view! It's run by a very friendly mother and daughter who were happy to give us information about the local area and help with our Spanish! Our room had a beautiful view of the harbour which made it well worth walking up the hill for. Pucasana is a lovely place to relax after leaving Lima...
