Great hotel in a stellar location. The staff were fantastic and really welcoming. The rooms were quaint and homely, hope that they are not changed. We had lake view rooms and to waken to that view with the cuckoo in full song was magical. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was quality. The Church and the...

We were guests of this hotel as part of a wedding celebration. Gougane Barra is absolutely beautiful-all of it- the setting outside, and the hotel within. The owners of this family-run hotel do a wonderful job making you feel at home. My daughters, in particular, loved the fairy door in the lobby! We all loved the Gougane Barra National Forest,...

Beautiful family run hotel in the most idyllic setting. Rooms weren't too luxurious but everything else made up for it. We had dinner in the restaurant that night, which was quite busy.
