We stayed at the guesthouse from January 14 to the 17 2019 and we had a great stay, the owner and staff were excellent and could not have made our stay any better. We had problems with our transfer and was stranded at the airport due to flight delay and Rasa tried her best to

Truly a great place with an amazing staff. The rooms were clean and nice. The only downside is I’m tall and I had the top room and it was too short for me but it was ok. Their tour guides are Awesome.

We went to Sweden for an official trip. But we figured since we're already there in the winter, we might as well go chase some aurora borealises. We found this place via Tripadvisor and the place didn't disappoint. Klas and Rasa were extremely helpful. The shuttle service to

Hi, if you book a private apartment at the Abisko Guesthouse which will cost more than a standard room then you will have essentially a self contained studio with private kitchenette, private bathroom and lounge and bedroom. You will not be sharing with anyone.hope that helps you.

Hi There are rooms in the main part of the house with shared kitchen, bathroom and so on. And there are several apartments with everything inside. I have seen an apartment with 3 sleeping rooms (each with 2 beds or twin bed) , living area + fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet, that suits for some people who belong together. And I saw one apartment with 2 sleeping rooms (one of which was locked), comfortable living area + equipped kitchen, shower, toilet.

I was there in the summer that was never discussed. They certainly can direct you to tours in the winter

hi! no private bathroom or shower, they have private toilets but not in your room, shower is communal with stalls to separate and for privacy, I used the handicap bathroom, which is private (shower and toilet), bring shower slippers! they provide slippers for you to use, snowsuits, thernal socks/boots, gloves, and hats for FREE. I also went solo, and they gave me my own room with a bunch bed. I was concerned about safety and cleanliness, very safe and secure, and clean! communal kitchen with everything you need next to communal dining room. there is a supermarket and a food truck (3 min walk; food truck closes at 6pm), had moose burger from food truck for the first time delicious. I'm pretty sure they don't provide breakfast. the sky station is a short walk, about 7-10 minutes away, I didn't walk there since I booked a tour with another company and they picked me up/dropped off. The guesthouse coordinates and offers many tours (northern lights, etc.), but I booked my lights tour with lights over Lapland instead (which I booked before the room, had I known, I would've booked with them). I went this February and it was -27 in the evening when I was there, not sure what it'll be like in October, other than cold ! I stayed for one night just to see the lights (which I did!) and didn't look into other other tours. Abisko is about 1.5 hours away from Kiruna airport, the guesthouse will provide shuttle service to and from for an additional fee, but I booked my lodgings the very last so booked shuttle service with another company. In hindisght, and if I did it again, I would've booked everything through them. I hope that helps!!!
