Perfect location for Aurora hunting, hiking and ski tours. Small, but decent rooms, cozy common places, sauna available, but for charge.
Guests can borrow warm clothing for free, and the staff helps in literally everything:)
You can book all kind of activities in the reception.

hi! no private bathroom or shower, they have private toilets but not in your room, shower is communal with stalls to separate and for privacy, I used the handicap bathroom, which is private (shower and toilet), bring shower slippers! they provide slippers for you to use, snowsuits, thernal socks/boots, gloves, and hats for FREE. I also went solo, and they gave me my own room with a bunch bed. I was concerned about safety and cleanliness, very safe and secure, and clean! communal kitchen with everything you need next to communal dining room. there is a supermarket and a food truck (3 min walk; food truck closes at 6pm), had moose burger from food truck for the first time delicious. I'm pretty sure they don't provide breakfast. the sky station is a short walk, about 7-10 minutes away, I didn't walk there since I booked a tour with another company and they picked me up/dropped off. The guesthouse coordinates and offers many tours (northern lights, etc.), but I booked my lights tour with lights over Lapland instead (which I booked before the room, had I known, I would've booked with them). I went this February and it was -27 in the evening when I was there, not sure what it'll be like in October, other than cold ! I stayed for one night just to see the lights (which I did!) and didn't look into other other tours. Abisko is about 1.5 hours away from Kiruna airport, the guesthouse will provide shuttle service to and from for an additional fee, but I booked my lodgings the very last so booked shuttle service with another company. In hindisght, and if I did it again, I would've booked everything through them. I hope that helps!!!
