Ski trip on the lake next to hotell. That exotic experience only 1 h 45 min from the Helsinki airport. Awesome views, all the way. Sauna, indoor swimming & good food. For families and bigger parties. Rooms older but comfy. Service attitude five out of five.

I haven't slept a night in this quaint little hotel, but I have had delicious lunch many, many times. Lunch buffet is something that you would not expect in small village like Hartola. Beats typical gas station meals 6-0.

Huvilamatkalla ylemmäs on mukava ruokapaikka, hetken hurmaa elämässä. Nice to stop and eat delicious meat in the old castle hotel restaurant. Ihmisluonnolle ympäristö antaa parhaat mietymyksensä. Välillä on ihanaa nauttia aineettomastakin hyvästä.

We stayed in Linna for one night and cannot complain. The room is simple, very clean and in a quiet area. Actually, the hiking paths and lake is within a walking distance. We had there lunch, dinner and breakfast which were very generous and traditional and using local products. We had a chance to try peat sauna for the first...

We stopped here for a night after a long day's driving. This hotel is right next to the beautiful Hartola Golf course. There is also a small river next to the hotel with pretty surroundings. The check in was efficient and the room was clean but with a spartan feel with the painted plain brick walls. There are tea/coffee making...

I spent 5 days at this beautiful hotel just before the Christmas. There were just a few other guests but the restaurant services were running like a carousel! Room was clean and WiFi worked fine. And the breakfast was lovely. The owners were friendly and helpful in all I needed. Nice and peaceful atmosphere, thank you so much! I'll be...

We landed to a Linna hotel...and whats up? Linna hotel was overbooked, no rooms to us. We made reservation 10 days before by e-maill, everything seems be ok but hotel was full...no -reserved -rooms to us. Several misstakes from them with many bookings, that´s the reason. Huuhhh..personal, how you are taking care of your clients???? Terrible misstakes! We went back...

This three star hotel was a nice change to all the big chain hotels in Finland. This hotel had personality. It was quint and clean, room's were nice although no airconditioning. Breakfast was lovely and excatly what you expect from a three star hotel. Linna means castle in Finnish but this used to be a barn so don't expect lavish...

I´ve stayed in there not exactly in the main touristy season (early April) and I think we´ve been the only guests in the Hotel. Still we were welcome and were served well. Our rooms have been clean. Bathroom was functional, clean. Don´t expect a trendy boutique style hotel - it´s a bit "old-fashioned" with the small exception of the flat...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This over 200-year-old manor cowhouse with its massive stone walls was converted into the stately Linna-Hotel some twenty years ago. The hotel amenities include quest rooms, saunas, an indoor swimming pool and a spacious sports hall. The chairs for the charming restaurant were transported from the Finnish Parliament House and the chandeliers from the British Isles. The quiet and tranquil Linna-Hotel is a popular venue for meetings and various courses.
