This hotel is good for families with kids. There's a large recreation area, indoor and outdoor, the room's have been renewed, although the common areas look still old. The room is comfortable, but i didn't like the heating system, it only works if the temperature is below 14 degrees Celsius. As a person who hates cold weather, i had to...

I often used to go to Laje de Pedra Hotel. For a while I stayed far from Gramado, RS - Brazil. Last week I decided to return to this city. And host me on the Hotel Laje de Pedra. It was very good to remember. The hotel is located on top of a plateau, where you can see an entire...

I have been visiting this hotel since I was 8 years old (45 now) and I have good memories from it. We have visited (my family 2 kids and my mom) for a week last July. Althought the hotel still keep its charm, it nees clearly a renovation in most parts. The people who takes care of kids are nice...

It used to be the number one hotel and resort in the mountains of RS state. Not anymore. Yet, it still has its charms, comfortable amenities, and its location - the surroundings are just breathtaking! I had a problem with the shower in my room, which would switch (by itself) to freezing cold and scalding hot, making the shower not...

The view from this hotel is truly breathtaking (I have never seen else anything quite like it), the location is wonderful, and the food is pretty good – all of which basically balance out the terrible state of the hotel itself. The rooms are very poorly kept, there is caked-on grime/dust on the ceiling fans, the carpets are torn, stained,...

It's an old hotel, and looks like they don't mind very much about upkeeping it. But it has a nice kids entertainment room, with several professionals to play and take care of the kids. Also, the view is very beautiful and they have a nice grove within the hotel area.

Nice place inside a private condo with security and beautiful views. The place is going throw a modernization but still lots to do. They must work better their menu and service and also de acoustic on the rooms. It pretty poor and you hear everything that goes on.

This "resort" follows the general standard of Brazilian hotels: poor quality, completely run off and stack in the 60s 70s. It pretends to be a resort. Once you enter you'll find a old, dusty, dirty carpet that goes all along. It had ambitions during its opening, nowadays it's simply a piece of museum. Breakfast is told to be "supreme": again,...

Thank you for your testimony. Sorry for not achieving your expectation and reported that the Laje de Pedra is a 3 star hotel. Really we are aware of the importance in adjusting to the demands of hosting international, so that we are undergoing renovations - started by the rooms that are most important and have already been renovated two wards....

We've stayed at this hotel for a 2 nights relaxing break. The hotel is set in a beautiful location and had everything to be top of the top... but it's not. The carpets look disgusting when you enter to the reception and unless you stay in the renovated area there is no point in even considering it. The acoustic is...
