I have arrived at B&B gates around 5pm as previously agreed with lady owner over the phone. Unfortunately after waiting for about half an hour outside the B&B I have realised that nobody is coming in! Both phones were off and gates were closed. I had to look for another accommodation, which wasn't easy. Unprofessional!

Booked one double room ensuite one day before arrival in Bettystown through booking.com, booking was confirmed with the usual e-mail. When we arrived at the B&B, at around 5pm on the next day, the lady acknowledged our booking, showed us our room and after 3 minutes, while we were fetching our luggage from the car, told us that there had...

Lovely large room.We stayed for 1 night,a family of 2 adults and 3 children. An extra mattress was laid on,with no fuss or noise.Crisp and really fresh linen. The breakfast was really hearty, and the kids were looked after brilliantly.Would really recommend this lovely B@B.

We stayed here for 2 nights (in room 1) in early July as we were visiting relatives in nearby village for a birthday celebration. Initially when we arrived the owner wasn't there however they arrived just as we were leaving and we were quickly sorted out. As with much of the culture, one learns to take things in very relaxed...

Despite reservations having been made many months ago we were treated very poorly at the Beach Lodge. The owner was never seen. My sister and her husband had just settled into their room when they were told that this room had been promised to someone else and they were forced to move to a room another floor up which was...

We wanted a B&B near the airport and close the beach. Beach Lodge was the perfect choice. The rooms were clean and cozy, the beds comfortable and the linen crisp and fresh. There were five in our party (two rooms) and everyone thought the hostess delivered the finest full Irish breakfast we had in all of Ireland. It is also...

First up, Beach Lodge ARE dog friendly accommodation, the owner Anne welcomed us all in plus our 2 pet dogs over Christmas. The B&B has a spacious walled garden where we were able to feed the dogs in the morning and evenings, like most careful owners we always clean up after the dogs and hopefully this will help others who...

Great bed and breakfast. Very welcoming and lovely room which was very spacious and warm. We had a small baby with us and we were offered use of the kitchen for washing bottled etc which was a very nice touch. Lovely breakfast too which set us up for our long drive home.
