This was venue of choice for a high school re-union in November 2016, and it worked a treat. We stayed at the Kole Kole site, on shared grounds with Maridadi and Baobab. Rooms faced the beach, any issues (cold shower) were promptly addressed, and staff were superb. The restaurant had a very good choice of hot foods, salads and desserts,... More

Please note that this hotel is a three in one, some may say that is great, but it spans soo wide that you're exhausted by the time you reach dinner or even the kids play pool. I strongly advise parents to look for another hotel as it is a nightmare to lug all the luggage you have all over the... More

The staff were constantly rude including swearing, shouting and ignoring us when we had a complaint. I have never experienced such bad hospitality! We had a lot of money stolen from our rooms when we were away and were never compensated! We were graduated students and they perhaps took advantage of that and were incredible rude to us. Bar staff... More

I don't enjoy big all inclusive resorts, that said, I booked one because I thought it was worth the price for an unpretentious weekend. The food is not good and the drinks so so. We dine outside the two days we were there. The pools are very beautiful and you basically can use 3 hotels: Baobab, Maridadi (where we stayed)... More

We had a terrible experience at Maridadi ... The staff were rude and they even messed up our rooms giving us a room is baobab instead of Maridadi..! Please save yourself of misery and stay elsewhere.! I have never had such a bad experience with any hotel before. I love Mombasa and this experience has just made me re-think. I... More

We have just returned from five days at Maridadi (Baobab Resort) and want to warn potential visitors that this place is NOT suitable for families with young children after our seven-year old son was attacked by a troop of five Sykes monkeys, which leapt on him as he was walking through the gardens on his way back to the reception,... Maridadi is a Sister hotel to Kole Kole and Baobab. You can eat / drink at any hotel. The rooms in Maridadi are the largest with queen / king size beds. Food was at par with what you would expect in an all inclusive. The have all day pizza for the kids to snack. The Lion King production is definitely... More

Local tourism is on!!! 1 in 7 is Kenyan. Proud Kenyan @50. Really nice service, good food and great place to be with family. If you are not into the likes of Safari Cane, I suggest you stock yourself or identify a local on your way. Drinks outside all-inclusive deal are rather exorbitant. Enjoy!!

We stayed at Baobab Beach Resort in the Maridadi wing for a week after our safari in September. We were booked in for a standard Baobab room but having read reviews decided to upgrade to a Maridadi room and were so pleased we did. The Baobab rooms looked so much smaller and darker and on top of each other. The... More
