We spent two weeks at the Marousso! It was fantastic! Michael and Maria the owners, made us feel so welcome, they treated us like family. They are genuinely warm, kind and great hosts. Maria the cleaner was fantastic, she cleaned the apartment every day and provided fresh towels, we even had the chance to meet her wonderful family. The location...

First of all, I would rather not write a comment nor rate Marousso, just so we can have this place for ourselves but ... We stayed here in period of 3 weeks in July and August 2015. This is our fourth stay in Skiathos, and first (but definetly not the last) in Marousso. Best place to stay in Town! Owners...

Unfortunately our room had no view: it was on the ground floor and our balcony was far too small and next to the reception so we could not spend as much time as we wanted there. It did not have breakfast and the the housekeeper although was cleaning every day did change our bed sheets only once during our whole...

We are so glad a friend recommended Marousso Guest House, although it is not far from Papadiamantis Street, it is a haven of peace. Our room was spacious enough for both of us and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Michael and Maria are a classy couple and were wonderful hosts, which helped retain a relaxed feeling...

Perfect location, small and cosy. There is no bar or restaurant but it doesnt matter. The center of Skiathos Town just around the corner. And their best restaurant Asprolithos 50m away. And 3-4 minutes walk to the bus that took you to 26 different beaches in 20 minutes. If you book this hotel, dont book transfer. I Think this has to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Marousso is a traditional guest house in the town of the Greek island of Skiathos with its incomparable style. It is a place to stay that combines our personal views in hospitality and decoration.. Marousso attracts its name from the traditional Skiathitian feminine version of the name of Maria but also from Santa Maria Maroussa of Asia minor (Anatolia), since our origins are from both sides of the Aegean sea. It offers 13 fully equipped rooms in the centre of Skiathos town. We take pride in our property as attention is paid even to the smallest detail in the decoration and comfords. This way we have managed to give Marousso a simple but luxurious style while it is modern and remains traditional. The hospitality is personal and authentic! The highlight of the complex has to be the beautiful colourful and blossomed garden area. ... more   less
