stayed for a week half board. Lovely staff and position across road from stunning beach. Food is basic so don't bother with half board as the main menu is much nicer and lots of nice places to eat nearby. Try lunch at the corner shack...More
We stayed at the Apollon for three days on our nine day holiday in Corfu. Check in was a breeze, we were taken to the Apartment in the annexe which includes a few steps to get there. The room which was mo more or less...More
Paleokastritsa is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The hotel was everything we needed, friendly staff and everything was working well. We had a 3rd floor room, so the sea view was fantastic.

The rooms in the hotel are very basic as expected in Greece but the location, food and staff make up for it.

Hello. The Apollon is our Autumn bolt hole, which in a way answers your question. It's a lovely typically Greek hotel with friendly, caring staff. The location is stunning and great for strolling around the bays and some water activities . . . but maybe not quite lively enough for your age group (speaking generally).
The local restaurants, bars and tavernas are lovely for an evening meal, but entertainment is not guaranteed.
Of course Corfu Town has many more options, and the bus leaves from the front of the hotel, but getting back after an evening/night out would only be possible by taxi.
