Had a cancelled outbound flight so couldn’t make booked night tried to change date as was in Sicily for a week….they had rooms & nights available but just wanted me to rebook & pay again not interested in trying to help or accommodate us … poor attitude as I believe hotels should be welcoming as possible ….shame as I really wanted stay but not so much that I’d pay twice.

Been for a week at the Whitebay and will surely revisit. Rooms out of this world. If you book a seaview, your veranda is just 3 steps from the lovely sandy beach. You can book the spa entirely for you. With an indoor heated pool looking over the beach, sauna and showers. Breakfast very good with a wide choice of italian goodies and with an incredible view. We had dinner in the restaurant and when asked for dinner in room food and service were impeccable. Receptionists and all the staff were very welcoming and made our stay an unforgettable one. Well done to all, we will miss you but you'll definitely see us again.

We are an Italian couple who had a really nice stay for five days in this hotel in front of the beach. The rooms are modern and clean and I especially enjoyed the shower which is very big and comfortable. The staff was amazing, they are helpful with everything. I read a previous review that was complaining about the extra charges, but that is totally normal! The sea in front of the hotel is very clear. It’s true that it has lots of sea weed on the shore, but it depends on the days and if you walk two minutes to the main beach you find some spots free of sea weed which seem like a tropical place. We also enjoyed the spa which they reserve only for you and has a wonderful view overlooking the sea.

Thoroughly our stay albeit only for 4 days. Staff very polite,friendly and helpful.Lovely spacious room with comfortable beds.Hotel right on the beach with white fine sand and clean crystal clear sea. Delicious breakfast --will definitely return.Spotless and Covid restrictions adhered to.

I was lucky enough to find this fabulous hotel spa just around the corner from the villa we rented this month at Fontana Bianche. I have been suffering with a bad neck for several months at home & the travelling made it worse so I booked myself a massage here expecting the usual holiday rub with essential oils which I would've been happy with... OMG Menia (I hope I spelt that right) the masseuse was amazing - my Italian is terrible so we talked very little but she knew exactly where I was having trouble & what to do about it, giving me a thorough - I would say holistic massage - that left me much relieved. I wanted to go back the next day but she said I was not to return for three days..... I say this to point out it's not always about the money ! I slept better & had less pain in the following days than I have in months! I went back three days later & she saw me again to continue the treatment. She is absolutely gifted at her profession and I am going back to the UK painfree & rested. I cannot thank you & WhiteBay spa resort enough. On top of that - It's a beautiful place right on the beach & all the staff were friendly and welcoming too! Highly recommended.…

This beach resort is conveniently located next to the beach with direct access. The sand beach is nice and not too busy. The staff is super friendly and hospitable. The points of improvement are: - They charge you for everything, so parking is another €10 per night, and renting sun beds another €15 per day. I think this should be included in the rate. Especially as the rates were pretty high for end of September (€180 per night!). Also for the Spa entrance or bottled water in the room you were charged extra. - The resort could use some maintenance. The walls were full of scratches, the bathrooms are outdated and don’t look too clean and neat anymore. - We were on the ground floor, and we couldn’t turn off the light of terrace so it was shining in the room at night (curtains didn’t complete close). - The AC was making too much noise (ticking sound). - Breakfast was very basic and not fresh, although the service was very Corona friendly. You could choose from the buffet and the waiter would put it on a plate for you. Furthermore, if you want to stay here make sure to rent a car. There isn’t much around Fontane Bianche so you need to get to Noto or Syracuse for lunch/dinner. The area overall is not amazing. All in all, the price/quality was off and I would not stay here again. …

I think that this place is beautiful , just one in Sicily at few foot of the sea. I’ll come Back soon. I had a great time especially in the spa overlooking the sea, it was fantastic, swimming pool and water jet. thanks to the director Valentina and all the staff.

We were one week at this hotel. Our room veranda had direct access to the small public sand beach with turquois waters. The hotel is pretty small with less than 20 rooms maybe half of it with the veranda to the beach. The beach gets crowded pretty on Sundays. The hotel provides you with sunbeds and an umbrella. The people at the beach were all friendly families and behaving well (no litter at the beach). For icecream or coffee there was a local bar. The restaurant Malafemmina was very good. Just don't order too much because the portions are huuuge. Special needs are taken care of, for instance my wife was made a special cake and scrambled eggs because of her gluten and lactose intolerance. Personel in generally very friendly. Apart from the food, the view from the restaurant is spectacular. The price was also very decent. I think it is the best place with a beach in eastern Sicily.…

White Bay is an incredible hotel. Cosy (not a big hotel with too many rooms), perfect location (beatiful beach in front and close to Siracuse) and a wonderful staff, they all were very kind all the time. The room we stayed was spetacular with a pool/jacuzi in the balcony.

We loved the balcony from where we had direct access to the beach - and means sound of the sea day and night :-) Breakfast at the hotel terrace with great seaview was already good so we decided to reserve there also for dinner - what a good decision! We enjoyed a 5-course-menu which was very tasty and well presented. If you need 2-3 days rest at Sicily this should be your preferred place!
