Great stay, comfortable, warm, clean, excellent service, we wanted for nothing. The breakfast was perfectly presented and the homemade soda bread was much appreciated. Conveniently placed for visiting the area and highly recommended by us!

I have read the unpleasant reviews what on earth do people want, 5 star for £75 a night, they have obviously not travelled. We stayed on our Cleveland Way Walk and it was very pleasant, very clean, well furnished , owner very helpful, lovely breakfast.

We were given a very friendly welcome and fresh milk offered immediately - always a good sign, in my book! Also juice for son and biscuits. Sue was very helpful and happy to chat and share her knowledge of the area. The room was large enough for the three of us, with a double and single bed and youngster had...

We stayed here walking the Cleveland Way and after a tired trek up 2 flights of stairs we were very surprised by the light and airy room. A warm welcome from the owner. Walking the Cleveland Way is full od interesting sights and sounds and this was another one, living up to its name, a guest house stacked with beautiful Victoriana, and wonderful antique clocks (a passion close to my own heart). The room was equally pleasant, clean and comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast in the Victorian parlour was as picturesque as...

We stayed here two nights during our hike on the Cleveland Way. We received a friendly welcome from both Sue and Stewart. Our rooms were amazing. On the first night we stayed in a studio flat which had been an antique shop. It was huge with its own kitchenette and ensuite shower and loo. On the second stay we were...
