It's been a few years since my wife and I stayed at the Loch Melfort Hotel and we were delighted to find that it was ass cosy and welcoming as ever but with a number of refurbishments and improvements making the visit even better. The expansion to and modernisation of the Dining Room has been very successful, retaining the view for diners for which the hotel is so well known. What was the Bistro for non-residents to dine in is now an attractive Bar and sitting area which sometimes is made available to local groups to use which is a nice touch. The staff are well trained and most attentive. Dinner and Breakfast menus are varied and food is very well presented and tasty. Cosy fire in the Lounge adds to the ambience, and we were not surprised to find that the Hotel was full despite ir being the end of November with the Hotel closing s few days later for a well-deserved break until early 2022. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Stayed here for two nights with our dog & had a lovely time. All staff were excellent, very helpful & friendly. Food was fantastic especially breakfast I could have happily worked my way through the menu. We stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms with a terrace. The room was a good size, warm, spotless, bed was super comfy but the room is a bit dated & I would definitely remove the cloth covers on the bedside tables & dressing table they must be difficult to sanitise in our covid world! One thing I would mention is the deafening…… we could hear conversations from the room above & someone in the room next door woke me coughing (I thought it was my partner!) That said I am still giving 4 stars as there is nothing you can do to sort the deafening & the view makes up for it. The main hotel public areas are lovely & super dog friendly so I would recommend & love to return. Thank you Loch Medford Hotel for a lovely stay.

6 of us enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay including dinner and breakfast. We stayed in a really lovely loch view room with a balcony overlooking the water. The view really takes your breath away when your open the door. The room was immaculate and I loved the fresh decor. Comfy bed and having a coffee when you wake up while taking in the view was just something else. Both dinner and breakfast was just so tasty. Best breakfast I’ve tasted in a while. We enjoyed some lovely walks too, lovely area. We all wished we booked at least a couple of nights. We will be back. Thank you Loch Melfort Hotel.
