Wolds way is my happy place ,so peaceful and safe for my great grand children to play outside, see the farm animals and the horses are friendly and love the odd apple !! The staff are there when you need them and couldn't be nicer, so if anyone reading this wants a break from the stress of a busy life try it you won't be disappointed and I am sure you will return !! Thanks again Derek and del .

Had a two day visit over May bank holiday. Two adults with two kids and another similar sized family. The campsite is situated on a high ridge line with incredible views over the Yorkshire Wolds. The Wolds Way runs past the site offering an easy entry to many fantastic routes. The site itself is well planned and easily navigated. There are many caravans and tents but privacy is not compromised as there are hedges between pitches. Each pitch has an electric hook up and a water point nearby. The facilities are immaculate offering shower rooms with toilet and sink, big enough to stay with the kids. There is also a washing up area with hot water. We've booked a further two weekends and will book more in the future. The people that run the place are very friendly and are always on hand if needed.

Stopped here for 2 nights while hiking TWW. Beautiful location, fantastic campsite and amazing staff. Only negative no real food to be bought on site. When I told Del that I needed food he went out of his way though and once he finished his shift drove to the supermarket and brought me some food back. If your in the area you’d be silly not to stay here. I will definitely be back.

We’ve been coming here for many years and love it. Derek and Del are brilliant and keep the site in good order. This year the shower block has had a significant investment with individual shower rooms and has been done to a very good standard. The countryside views are to die for. The location is great with Malton , Thornton Le dale, Helmsley, Pickering, Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and even York is not far. The only tip I would give is avoid bank holidays the toilets and showers take a hammering and people do not respect the facility with cleanliness! I guess that’s the same at any site? Any other time spot on! Cannot recommend enough!!!

We have just arrived back from a weekend at Wolds Way, we booked a tent pitch with electric and it's a great site. The shower/loo block is very clean no complaints at all. Will definitely be back to visit as perfect location for Filey and Scarborough
