We are a young couple, stayed here last year, had a nice room, though it was a bit noisy from the road and would have benefitted from a bath in the mezzanine shower room. We stayed for food, and it was AMAZING French cuisine!! Truly amazing!!! Also nice walks in the area, the locals so friendly, just chat to them... More

I stayed here recently and got a great deal. Based on the price it had to be the best deal ever and I've paid double or treble for poorer stays elsewhere. The rooms at the Forresters are cosy and warm and well equipped. Very unusual in that the bathroom is upstairs so not good for disabled guests but for most... More

The service was excellent with great attention to detail and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The whole occasion was delightful and the staff went out of their way to... More

Difficult to fault this small family run Hotel set in beautiful countryside. Very pleasant restaurant and bar area with food and beer to match. Go on an empty stomach as the food is exceptional, try the breakfast gateau very unusual and very filling.. The rooms although a little on the small side are well equipped and very clean and tidy....
