Wow! We had such an amazing time staying at the Aquapackers on 5 Jan. Jane and Mark are fantastic hosts, they made us feel right at home in their home straight away and the boat was just lovely. The other guests were really nice and the atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly with everyone getting along and making themselves at...

Absolutely lovely experience staying on this converted catamaran with the beautiful surrounds of the Abel Tasman national park. Begin your stay by jumping off the roof of the boat and swimming in the pristine waters of the beautiful Anchorage bay. Have a warm outdoor shower and chill out with the drinks you brought with you, while an awesome BBQ is...

We were a group of 8 (4 adults & 4 teenage kids) and recently stayed overnight on Aqua Packers. We had a brilliant experience. The bedrooms we clean, warm end comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious - Well beyond our expectation - healthy delicious food in the whilst floating in the middle of the Able Tasman... very special! Our...

We visited Aquapackers in October, hence it was slightly cold outside. So when you arrive to Aquapackers after a 8 hour hike, freezing cold and you smell freshly baked muffins and get a warm cup tea in your hand. That feeling (!), is what an active vacation is about. Physical activities during day and 100% enjoyment in the evening. You...

We stayed at the Aquapackers for a night and it really felt like home! The owners Jane and Marc (both spent most of their lives on a boat. She is a chef and he is an engineer) just bought the Boat and it is their first season. However they are doing a fantastic job. After your hike in the Abel...

Staying here for a nice as part of a tour around New Zealand. Although staying here was chosen for me, I would recommend it 100%. The couple who run this lovely floating hostel are amazing! The lady is a cook and I have never eaten so well in my life! She accommodated for my being a veggie and made fresh...

Unfortunately we did not get the larger private cabin. For over 1,90m people it's hard to sleep in cabin on floor 1. But boat, place and hosts were very nice. Host Couple overtook the bizz 9 weeks ago. Very motivated they R!! Highly recommended

This is a great place to stay if walking the Abel Tasman Track. It is run by a friendly couple who will pick you up from the beach in Anchorage Cove. Dinner was a substantial and delicious barbecue accompanied by a variety of salads. Breakfast included muesli, yoghurt, fruit, home made bread and jam. Good coffee. There is a variety...

Have only just figured out how to respond, Mark and I still got lots to learn.;) Thank you all for your reviews. Think a lot of it has to do with the people we get on board Aquapackers.....really doesn't feel like work. So a big thanks to our guests. Jane and Mark

Mark and Jane from the moment we stepped onboard were hospitable and helpful. The food was great (food allergies were catered for easily - Dairy free and vegetarian) the private rooms looked so inviting and the droms were clean and inviting. Would love to stay overnight again any time. Only warning - Bring your own alcohol none available on board

This is a unique place to stay, floating in the bay in the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. Its a boat, so cabins are small but we stayed in the 4 bed cabin and it was comfortable and clean - lovely crisp white sheets. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price and they were great - barbecue & salads...
