My husband and I stayed here for two nights in February in one of the chatlets. Rose is one of the sweetest women there is. As soon as we arrived she gave us a run-down of town, places to eat, and set us up instantly with a kayak tour company, which was conveniently located across from our room. We were...

What a treat! Lovely individual chalet with everything you need to self cater. Spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Situated in Marahau within easy walking distance of Abel Tasman and also the beach at Marahau which is lovely for swimming. Also right beside the aqua taxi and kayaking booking offices, so easy to sort your trip to Abel Tasman. Thank you...

We recently discovered this treasure, The hostess was amazing and went the extra mile, making certain we were able to take advantage of the knowledge she and her husband have of the whole region . The chalets are clean, and private, handy to all facilities you need and the hot water is beautifully plentiful,,

Have just left after staying 7 nights at this wonderful place. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic. Rose is a wonderful host, giving plenty of information and advice. It is a short walk to the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park. A wonderful area for short or long walks along the track....

Wow is all I can say! The pictures on here do not do the chalets justice. Rose was such a welcoming host with an incredible wealth of knowledge on the local area. She really couldn't do enough to ensure we had a fab stay. It was great to be able to do our washing and hang it on the line...

Visiting from Australia, we chose Abel Tasman Haven because of its quiet location and its great Trip Advisor reviews. We found it to be exactly as other reviewers have all said - excellent! We stayed four nights in the larger of the three cabins, cabin no 3. It was clean, well appointed, had a very comfortable bed, a good bathroom,...

We first met the nice dog Bella, and that was funny because our dog Budo looked like her. A pity that she has problems with her hips. And she is only 4. Rose had a warm welcome for us and that was fine, because we were very tired from our hike from Torrent bay via Anchorage beach back to Marahau....

This is a great location to explore southern end of Abel Tasman National park. Very friendly owners who will guide you to local beaches & attractions. If you go out you'll need a torch if returning late.
